There has been a lot of talk and a narrative created that Trump can/will be impeached under Article 4 of the 25th Amendment.
Is this just another failed attempt by the left and the GOP establishment to stop trump (think recount, Russian hacking, fake news, dirty dossier etc)...
Or is this a real possibility? Based on how every other anti-trump narrative came and quickly disappeared I think this is bullshit, but why does the Left get so excited every time a new opportunity comes to attack Trump? It fails everytime.
He actually has to do something that warrants impeachment.
Doing his job and doing what he was elected to do isn't enough to warrant impeachment, no matter how butthurt the left is.
Matthew Flores
Not with a republican majority senate and house.
Tyler Wilson
Clearly the GOP establishment (Ryan, McConnell) will be weighing up whether it is worth impeaching him and threatening their electoral strength but stopping him from fucking up their cuckservative cut taxes and regulations bullshit.
If they make a move shit will hit the fan. Trump was clearly elected as a rejection of standard GOP politics and a move towards populist nationalism.
Noah Lee
Impeachment is a legal thing, not a "we don't like you" thing.
America suffered Carter and Hoover.
Zachary Martin
hoover was good you fuck
if wilson and FDR didnt get impeached nobody ever will
Gavin Stewart
Then why are all these "respectable" columnists and public figures claiming it will happen? Have they just lost their mind and they're going all out?
>He actually has to do something that warrants impeachment.
He already has. Like the foreign bribes he's received.
Gavin Wood
But Then You Get The Pence
Jason Cook
Nice proofs
Face it. Trump will be president for 8 years and there is nothing you cucks can do about it.
Justin Butler
He hasn't shown his tax returns, and he handed over control of his private business operations to immediate family members.
There's possibly a case there, yeah.
Aaron Martin
It's a matter of when not if.
Joseph Walker
He'll be impeached in two years before/after elections to get Pence that sweet 10 year limit.
Camden Gonzalez
At least Pence is sane.
Charles Nguyen
His team of Jewish lawyers already figured everything out to make sure he doesn't break any laws. They had a press conference about this 3 weeks ago you stupid cuck.
Ryan Watson
there is no legal obligation for him to show his taxes though.
Tyler Price
>trump will never win the primaries >he's a joke >he can't proceed >he's a sexual molestor >he'll never win the nomination >they'll vote someone else >he'll never beat clinton >it's a guarantee clinton wins >don't worry we have proof electors will betray him >the recount will overturn him >he'll never make it to jan 20 >reeeeeeeeeeeeeee impeach I swear he'll be impeached any day now
Blake Powell
Obongo sealed away all his legal documents and you're crying over fucking tax returns?
Jack Flores
Well lefty journalists have been right about everything up to this point
Jace Wood
Dems are desperate at this point
Camden Parker
Sauce? I need this to be true!
Camden Garcia
Very high chance i put a grand on him to win i've put a grand on him to be impeached, he hasn't distanced himself properly from Trump inc. and he cant stop lying. I only got 3/1 on this bet though. here's to hopeing
Evan Campbell
Well, he's said he would on a number of occasions, but he still hasn't. If it's called upon in an impeachment hearing, he could be compelled to do so. And if enough people get pissed off at him that they start blowing up their congressmen's phones they could be compelled to call for impeachment.
Thomas Baker
He works too hard to get impeached just because the fee fees of these brain dead morons are hurt.
Jacob Ward
>There has been a lot of talk maybe leave r/politics and turn off CNN/MSM for 10 mins and then you'll see no one is talking about it.
Jose Morgan
>There has been a lot of talk
So?
Dylan Green
Kys. He has released much more detailed financial statements and neither of these is required by law.
Sebastian Young
Those were the same people saying Trump could never get elected. Some of them actually stated "0% chance"
They have no credibility, no more than any random turd on this board.
Justin Brown
That's not how it works burger. Just because a bunch of angry libtards spam their congressmen is not grounds for impeachment. Trump has to actually do something WRONG other than just make people mad. You can't impeach a President that was legitimately elected just because you don't like him.
Also it doesn't matter that he said he'd release his tax returns, he doesn't legally have to, a verbal agreement isn't binding. He can't be impeached or brought up on any charges for this.
Hunter Ortiz
Cool story, bro.
Still hasn't released the tax returns. That's what's going to get him impeached.
Ryan Moore
>At least Pence is sane Man leftists are in for a rude fucking awakening if Pence becomes President
Gavin Gonzalez
you just believe this because the media hasnt brainwashed you against him yet. The liberal media only goes to war with the republican who is the biggest threat, and treats all others as "sane" to not look biased. Remember how they treated McCain in 2008? Now they treat him like gold.
Brandon Clark
They'd have to impeach also Pence. And brobably five next people that would come after him.
Good luck with that.
Nolan Jackson
>an investigation by ProPublica in the lead-up to the inauguration found no record of Trump actually resigning from his companies. Excerpt from a lawsuit filed against Trump citing emoluments as violation of constitutional protocol concerning foreign financial interests and corruption in the office of POTUS.
Gavin Hill
It isn't required by law
So no it won't
Stay buttmad faggot
Luis Jackson
BUT BUT BUT>> HE Hurt my feelings!
Robert Cruz
Like Hillary also?
Henry Thompson
1. There's no evidence indicating bribes. Now, before you link a CNN article about emoluments, bear in mind that the SCOTUS has never defined the term.
2. The transactions in question are the profits from hotel rentals purchased by foreign diplomats during their stay, not bribes. This will likely never see the SCOTUS as virtually no one besides arguably Pence has necessary standing to successfully bring the suit.

A verbal agreement can be binding in US contract law depending on whether or not certain conditions are met. However just a promise to do something lacks conaideration and does not usually create contractual obligation.
Zachary Walker
Well said leaf. The rake is delayed a bit longer.
Jaxon Cruz
This.
Cameron Lee
Did you read my post? Impeachment is a court held by the House. The house is majority republican. They won't call for impeachment against one of their own unless people start making noise about it in a way that threatens their re-election. Hense, calling.
If impeached, Trump can be compelled to produce his tax returns and if there is anything that constitutes a conflict of interest he can be forceably removed from office.
Isaiah Wilson
the ACLU has already filed suit, from what i remember there are now a few lawsuits pending against trump. you will also see lawsuits concerning some of his executive orders because the wording in some is contradictory and violates federal law.
between the lawsuits and lack of staff, because he does not have his appointments coupled with the fact his white house is leaking like a broken water main his white house is sinking.
He has signed a lot of EO and said he is doing a lot but nothing is really happening. Its all optics. His white house is in deep trouble
Xavier Nelson
a fucking smart leaf
Chase Price
>respectable
Ian Hill
Don't you think Obama would have done something if there was something bad in Trump's tax returns?
Obama controlled the IRS while he was president you know
God damn lefties are retarded as fuck.
Noah Ramirez
no first of all trump was audited by the IRS, if he had committed fraud or something, you can bet that would have been brought up during the election. What you will probably find is that he used legal loops holes to pay fewer taxes like every other business man. It wont do anything to help him and just give liberals something else to whine about. He can't be impeached over not releasing his taxes just as Obama couldn't be impeach over not releasing his birth certificate. Even though he eventually did end up releasing a fake one.
Alexander Adams
This is some weapons grade LARP'ing.
Jesus H. 18 months later and YOU'RE still in phase 1 of grief.
Nicholas Wood
Who cares? Trump’s family would only be so happy . .. no real money in politics. Republicans would be happy ‘cause they have Pence and the agenda is unchanged.
Jose Rodriguez
It's customary because as commander in chief he is beholden to the citizens as though they are shareholders, it would be wise to air the minutes. Just the appearance of corruption is damning. Why do you think HRC lost?
Ayden Barnes
What could he have done? If he released anything during the election he would have been in violation of federal law. After the election trump is the PEOTUS. You have to let this play out in the system. It is congress who will have to fix any problems not Obama
Henry Lopez
Truly his greatest ally!
Joshua Brown
Let me guess, you need to donate money to get this impeachment going, am I right?
Evan Fisher
He could have instructed the IRS to prosecute Trump
Dumbass
Asher King
Please clarify.
Jose Moore

Dylan Lewis
The ACLU has no standing. Any argument they put forth arguing in support of standing will either: 1) lack injury in fact or threat to future injury that doesn't require speculation; 2) any grievances provided will be far too generalized as they apply not strictly to themselves but everyone as a whole; and most importantly 3) the suit lacks redressability. The Supreme Court does not have authority to compel the head executive to forfeit his personal holdings. This doesn't even address the merits of the suit, which will most likely never see discussion in the Supreme Court due to the aforementioned issue of standing.
SCOTUS doesn't want this, they will avoid this, and the constitution does not provide avenues for them to address this.

Evan Wright
If Trump owes money to Russia that by itself is not a crime. You would need to prove some type of corruption, bribery, or collusion. That would require investigation by FBI/CIA/ETC
Who is to say that investigation is not currently taking place right now? Regardless it is congress that will have to act, not Obama when he was president.
Alexander Collins
lol who is gonna impeach him? the republican senate or the republican house? or half the population that voted for him? hahahahahha
>Most voters share the views of the president and the party coming to power, but Republicans identify a lot more with Donald Trump than with the GOP Congress.

Usually the cabins would be confirmed and running their departments by now and hundreds if not thousands of appointed government positions.
The very model of efficiency, I suppose.
Gabriel King
For what?
All people can do is cry. Trump will make America great again. Democrats want people to be poor and dependent on welfare, especially black people. See Saul Alinsky.
Jacob Hall
>The ACLU has no standing Like that matters, it is death by a thousand cuts. It is hard for an administration to govern when it is being attacked on all sides, and Trumps is. He is making enemies of his own agencies. The GOP congress is starting to get angry, and you have people filing lawsuits.
James Mitchell
>>discussing legal matters as a layperson Top ducking kek! Stay calm, larp on.
Jason King
never trump movement is not dead, they are just silent, because he won
They will show their rat fangs soon, they are just waiting for a chance
Luke Foster
These emolument suits are coming in probably daily now. Do you realize how easy it is to make standing arguments. There is a mountain of precedent on the issue. So much so that a form answer could easily be constructed with room to plug in each particular complaint's argument. There is no likelihood that someone will crack the code and find some unique standing argument for something like this. The resources necessary are nothing, especially considering how many lawyers surround him.
So no, there are no cuts. There is no threat of death by being swarmed by flies. You swipe in the air and continue doing what you're doing
Ryder Torres
That natters during an election cycle. Nothing illegal about not doing something customary. Again, he has to actually do something illegal.
Christian Price
>half of the population voted for him
No they didnt, half of the entire US voting population went out to vote and he got less than half of that, its more like less than 1/4 of the US voted for the Apprentice you fucking retard apologist.
Dominic Hill
Got an argument for why complaint allegations should be treated as fact outside of a 12(b)(6) ruling?
Anthony Ward
you are in for a very, very, very long 8 years.
I am so happy that your are pissed.
Brayden Walker
Who is going to vote to impeach him?
Republicans control all 3 branches of government, they will never let Trump go
Nicholas Sanchez
If the IRS, who openly targeted conservatives, had anything on him, it would have come about. The IRS can't do a thing about it.

This is another attempt at the left to try anything to get rid of him. It will fail. He has done nothing to warrant even the talk of impeachment. These libs are in for a very long decade.
Asher Russell
Like still running his private businesses even though they're supposedly in trust to his own family?
Caleb Lee
for real are these idiots that salty they lost the election? their leader is michael moore and shia lebouef for fucks sake. LOL
Anthony Johnson
They should have voted if they didn't like the results. Thats the way it works. It's an established Republic, not some wishy washy French government subject to change via angry people and a guillotine every 6 months.
Luke Miller
Not applicable in this scenario. Invalid lawsuits have no damning effect on any given individual's reputation.
Ethan Myers
No case law addressing directly the legality of these allegations.
Jack Mitchell
>Trump Impeachment Possibility?

If they can prove he's still running his business, it may be grounds, but suspicion and possible conflicts of interest aren't so concrete. If Hillary won, Chelsea Clinton running the Clinton Foundation would be fine, even if there was speculation about Hillary running it,
Caleb Young

Chase Robinson
Hardly, the constitution is still relatively intact and the government is functioning.
Hudson Young
are you implying that the lawsuits are competently incapable of moving to discovery and getting his tax records release ?
That is the goal, to find one judge to move along far enough and force the tax return. This is the same strategy, not legal strategy, that was used with Bill Clinton. Just keep digging and force every investigation you can till you find something. You keep pushing and attacking till you find a hole then you pounce
Ryan Sullivan
If Trump goes away, America will have Mike "volts" Pence. Can't wait for that.
Joshua Wood
That's not an argument. Its not subject to the whims of mobs in any case, unless done so willingly. Sorry, they should've voted. Deal with it. We had to deal with king nigger for 8 years and our attempts at disqualification and impeachment didn't work either. If the republic starts crumbling, it will be because we finally decided to start killing each other,
