MADE IN USA

Connecticuck here, home of the Bridgeport. So, I've always bought American. Even if Chinese and Mexican shit is half the price, American products are built better; plain and simple. Our country founded the industrial revolution. What do you expect?

ITT: Post the most badass products made in the USA, and show why we don't give a fuck about Mexican imports.

sorry, i'm having a hard time taking a picture of my freedom

MADE IN USA
*with parts sourced from china*

One in the pic is old. Cast in the USA

daily reminder: this is who posts as "white" on Sup Forums

Japanese and german cars are still better than shit ford and chevy.

>Our country founded the industrial revolution
>What is Britain?

>i'm having a hard time taking a picture of my freedom

Here, this might help :^)

>Bridgeport

Possibly the only city in our state worse than Hartford

BRIDGEPORT

BRIDGEPORT

CITY OF DREAMS

>American products are built better
So why are all U.S. cars (until very, very recently) total shit?

>Our country founded the industrial revolution.

Wasn't that Britain?

>Our country founded the industrial revolution

Any American car built before 1990 is fucking great.

most badass product without a doubt is lindsay lohan. such a qt.

if american prodcuts are better built then why is my shitty chinese built keyboard still function after 7 years of over use but the american laptop i brought cpu got fried in two weeks thanks to improperly built ventilation

Vollrath, they make amazing and cheap pans that last forever

wtf a keyboard runs on USB current. It shouldn't need ventilation at all.

ok joe rogan

american laptop
the fucking ventilation on it was shite which meant the cpu might as well be an expensive pile of plastic with some metal on it

and the keyboard is a bad example to be fair, but so long as you know what sort of product youre going for when it comes to buyin shit then anything thats foreign produced should work perfectly

>Our country founded the industrial revolution.
>American education

I support you bro, but the Industrial Revolution happened only thanks to Britain.

I also buy American for big purchases. If I see the flag logo and "MADE IN USA!," you'd best believe I'll pay the extra buck or two. Fuck Mexico. Buy First World/European whenever possible, guys. We'll take out these globalist fucks yet.

>pic related, my American-made boots that set me back $279 and are on their third resole and fifth year of hard work

>Our country founded the industrial revolution.

you might want to try learning history.

>Our country founded the industrial revolution
>american education
the industrial revolution began in Britain in the early 1700s
we may have refined industrialism through our rail system and the development of the assembly line, but we didn't start it

>a German thinks he can outfreedom america

Nice try klaus, sorry about all the fourteen year old girls having sexual emergencys in your terrible "country"

Criticize your leaders or Islam even in a respectful way publicly. See what happens.

Irrelevant, obvs

Bridgeport is one of the most dangerous cities in the nation. Its approaching Chicago levels.

UCONN here, going to move to wilderness in Washington once wife finishes med school.

Wtf is an American laptop? You thinking of some shitty HP?

USA USA USA

You've only bought US? BULLSHIT. Any car you own has foreign parts including most things even made in the USA are made FROM foreign materials. Gtfo you wanna be patriot

You probably bought a shitty second hand HP. That was a common problem on them for a very long time, especially with nvidia.

Used work at Nucor Steel, non union steel producer, very strong company.
Now work manufacturing workout equipment. American made all the way.

>tfw car was made in Ohio
>motorcycle made in Missouri

Bridgeports cost $30,000 new. Used, for $2000. They are first rate quality, even 40 years old.
The best US product is the Shelby mustang. Does any shit-quality chinese product make you heart go pitter-patter like that muscle car? No way. "Chinese" on label? Shit on the table.

I'm sure you use a cell phone ...not aware of a single US company building USA phones...dumbass but we're all taking the bait

Fords use Japanese electronics

>Bridgeport
>American made

Made by Puerto Ricans and niggers

Pretty much all american guitars and amps are superior to everyone else, just they are too damn expensive.

Nice, Nucor was trying to hire me. I was thinking about it, but they wanted me to work some whack ass hours.

Here you go

BTFO Amerihaters

>made in usa

The REAL industrial revolution began with this man

>Wtf is an American laptop?

I am assuming Apple.

AFAIK only laptop maker that does some assembly in the USA.
Plus their overheating issues are so well known, its fanbase is calling it a feature.

Many of hope Trump's policy will se a return of American manufacturing. A lot of folk I know are looking forward to being able to buy quality American products again. Real quality products, not just famous brand names that whored themselves out to overseas bidders.

Had years of only being able to buy crap Asian products that quickly fail or break or just dont dont do the fuckin job properly.. Actually costs you more in the long run.

Jesus Fuck I am sick of it. Had a Hoover vac in my family, 40 FUCKING YEARS IT WORKED WITHOUT A PROBLEM! And it worked really well. Try buying something that dependable now.. Same with all sorts of white-ware, tools, etc. Christ I just want to buy something ONCE and know it will work for a decent amount of time.I don't fucking care if I have to pay 4 or 5 times as much, just so long as its been INTELLIGENTLY designed and built with QUALITY materials by a company that actually FUCKING CARES about its products!

FUCK!

-picture taken with electronic made in China.

Implying there are no shitty American made products.

Everything electronic uses at least some components (particularly generic parts like capacitors etc) made somewhere in east asia.

JAPAN

nice try though. anyway, the robustness of the controller isn't as important as the robustness of the mechanical parts on a bridgeport.

Could make the controller with an Arduino if you really wanted to probably.

Jesus Christ no. It all went to shit in the 80s.

>Had a Hoover vac in my family, 40 FUCKING YEARS IT WORKED WITHOUT A PROBLEM! And it worked really well. Try buying something that dependable now.

I think Miele still makes vacuums that durable.

Not really sure though.
Still using my grandmothers Miele, which I inherited 20 years go.

This isn't even shitposting. I can't tell what this is.

If your camera is really made in Japan (as opposed to some consumer level Sony or Canikon made in Tailand) then why is your picture so shit?

Salt of the earth. My old man had a Bridgeport in his shop, then he was bought out by Corbin Russwin (Assa Abloy).

For the average person, a cheaper camera will actually tend to take better pictures than an expensive one because the expensive one is made for people who actually know how to operate a camera properly.

ooh,

I thought he was talking about the controller on the Bridgeport.

Industrial revolution started in Europe you fucking idiot

It's clearly struggling with the low light.
I can't think of a single camera made in Japan that isn't awesome in low light.

>made in USA
>implying Donald can bring back in 4 years manufacturing
The reason China and Mexico have factories is because the people there have the adequate trade/engineering/STEM education, unlike americans that learn economoy, african history and computer science.

Thats why you have no industry and won't have.
"Hardworking" jobs are seen as stupid, disgusting, low status by every normal person, nobody wants that kind of job.

I'm a diesel mechanic and it's common knowledge that American made tools are much better than foreign tools with the exception of a few German tools.

German American and japanese durable goods all share similar levels of quality while taiwanese goods are a bit behind and almost anything Chinese is just complete fucking garbage.

No. It's because factories in China literally have dorms. People live at the factory, get 1 day off a week, work 14-18 hour shifts, they earn $4 a day and their dorms have suicide proof windows because of how fucking shitty it is. It has nothing to do with education.

Until US workers are willing to work in the same conditions, those factory and manufacturing jobs are never coming back.

ah fellow connecticucks. best decision ive made is leaving connecticut for alaska. just leave now

>"Hardworking" jobs are seen as stupid, disgusting, low status by every normal person, nobody wants that kind of job.

Maybe you feel that way. I like using my hands, and troubleshooting electronics and machinery. I've been in trades for over a decade, and I love it. It gives me practical skills that save me money on home, car, and other repairs. I never have to call anyone to fix anything, and it just feels good whenever you finish doing some man shit and fix or build something.

A lot of people don't understand the level of knowledge you need to have, to do hands on work on mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems, or the level of manual dexterity it takes. To each their own I suppose.

Do other countries even make tools in your backwards measurements?

Alaska is cold and it sucks. I'd rather go to Washington and live in a forest and have my wife farm money from sick people.

Communist labor unions are directly responsible for the poor quality of American automobiles in the late 70s to mid 90s, but make no mistake german cars have never been reliable and japanese cars (specifically honda) have taken a huge decline in reliability in the past decade.

Lol wut? Where it's made has nothing to do with low light, combo of the sensor and its sensitivity and the lens attached to it.

lel, every tool mfg makes USA tools because the market is so big

>mfw I get a mitutoyo mic in inches and the inspection report is signed off by T. Suzuki

...

Chinese people are very hardworking. And educated in what they're doing.
Those conditions you describe are long gone and keep going away, chinese now, actually start having some low standards.
Most normal people consider those jobs are just a big "no no no", they have a negative reputation

>Argues that America started the industrial revolution
>Posts a British man to prove his point

...

High end cameras have high end sensors.
I think nearly all cameras made in Japan have full frame sensors now.

You're on fucking drugs and know NOTHING of the auto industry. Audi is one of the most reliable car makers, and Toyota and Honda still reign supreme. I have multiple bmws (mostly older ones, e21,e30s, e46) and my e46 is still using the 15 year old alternator (Bosch made in the UK) I replaced the original battery (made in Italy, stamped with production dates) and I've only replaced a few hoses and the radiator and now getting the oil separation system done this week (all those are made in Germany) so tell me how reliable your dodge or ford is.... at my job we use brand new dodge/Chrysler vans and Ford trucks and a couple of their SUVs...I know about their reliability. Except Chevy automatic transmissions are fucking amazing (my e46 Bmw has one and most bmw autos even now are made by Chevy) which is the only good thing about Chevy.

The US didn't found the industrial revolution bro

>Our country founded the industrial revolution.

....please tell me you are joking?

....please tell me Americans don't actually think this?

Snap On BTFO

>Argues that America didn't start the industrial revolution
>Posts a stupid comment claiming a Scottish man is a British man

I'm guessing the one on the right is from ching chong chinaland?

You know nothing... lmao
False as well. Fuji makes micro 4/3, Apsc, canon, Nikon and Sony all make full frame and aps-c (professional).
Where it comes from means nothing, it uses parts from all over, German cameras are built to amazing quality but cost literally an arm or a leg.

America founded history, read a book
>A book is also founded by America fwy

>our country founded the industrial revolution

How much would resoling a boot usually cost?

>Greenland

?

Wrong, they have tools made in China, as does Marco, usually something with electronics, it is sparse. But they do, no major company is all USA

Matco **

>Scottish people arent British
>American "Education"

even every American in this thread who has an actual knowledge of history disagrees with you your literally being a WE WUZ KANGZ

And I said auto industry as in cars, automobiles.. not tools.

>canon, Nikon and Sony all make full frame and aps-c (professional).

AFAIK the Nikon D500 is the only APS-C made in Japan.
And it's actually very good in low light.

But even MFT should be decent enough.
OP's picture was taken with a PHONE camera.

We make jet engines too. Rolls Royce is the second largest manufacturer of aircraft engines in the world.

Here's a pic of your own Boeing's 787, using Rolls Royce engines.

John Kelly?

A lot of them are covered under warranty.. but sometimes $60-80

I'm strongly leaning towards moving to New Hampshire or Vermont.

Connecticut is honestly a really nice state, it's just our radical leftist politicians and minorities have ruined it.

Noice thanks for that info.

man i love being american

CT is probably the nicest, safest, smartest, and most beautiful state, but there's no work there because of the shit government. I moved to CA and I hate things about being here but there is shit to do instead of just working at a guitar center and smoking pot.

*Rustles ironically*

Yeah it's not that great in low light, don't care to explain it but smaller sensor gathers less light. Most nikons sensors (not the d500 tho) are made by Sony. Mft is shit in low light (took my Olympus back a few days later). VERY GOOD in low light would be considered the Sony a7sii (from someone who does portraits, weddings and events, some may do okay but that doesn't mean they will focus good in low light(Nikon and canon use contrast detection af which is eh at best in low light)

>I'm a British guy that doesn't know how to check posts by ID
>I can also claim Scottish people are part of my country whenever its convenient, but most of the time I despise them and refuse to recognize their existence

But I say the best shit is when it's made from parts all over, it's like an all star team. My sony Zeiss 50/1.4 uses German glass and a japan made body and af

Move anywhere.

CT has the worst drivers in the nation by every available measure, we're assholes, we're uptight elitests with the greatest income inequality in the country, and there's nothing to do here, for work or otherwise. Its aerospace engineering and pay 50% of your income in taxes or fuck off somewhere else after taking advantage of our great location to go to a fantastic world-class school and live a happy life.
