They proceeded to kick out all humans and turn it into the techno paradise it is, only then re-inviting humans back into the city once tensions had eased following the years after Overwatch disbanded. Literally the only reason Numbani looks as nice as it does is because the Omnics kicked out the former tenants and rebuilt it in their own image.

Thanks, after avoiding Overwatch for sometime, I finally tried it roughly a month ago and its my favorite game now. Past the cartoony art, the lore actually has an interesting depth too it and I love the characterization

The comics are mostly pretty good. Torbjorn's goes into how he personally helped developed the omnics and why he thinks that the idea of them being given rights is frightening as hell. They're all worth a read.
