Certainly, political beliefs among a country will never be homogeneous, even if for the sake of contrarianism alone. With the sheer amount of hatred on all sides, how will we move forward? What do you see as the future of the left, right and center (and whatever else)?
FFS even celebrities who we're wise enough to keep their views to themselves were being attacked. Political tension has invaded seemingly everything.
When and how will this tension be eased? I imagine there must be a relate time in history we can draw upon, and make assumption from.

OP here, just to clarify that my only prediction is that it will be a long, violent and painful road. I don't know where it's going to lead, but I can't see the social tension easing for at least a decade. I think it's going to be absolute barrage, no holds barred shit slinger from every corner (music, film, academia, etc).

AAHHH WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE ROLLIE POLLIES?

Civil war and/or balkanization. We will be white minority in 20 years and the non-white majority state will not able to coexist with the white majority ones. It might take longer than 20 years to reach the point of war, but it will happen eventually.

The internet is also a really disruptive and new thing. I wonder if we'll start seeing migrations of people to from communities based on ideologies. Socialists for example, have the organizational technology to raise funds and actually establish large communes to test out their "ideas".

I hate to be off topic, but those things are actually very close relatives to rolly pollies. Rolly pollies are neither insect or arachnid, they are crustaceans. The more you know.

>>athens establishes regional hegemony in Attica and collects taxes, spends on their own city, creates resentment in locale >> sparta wtf m8 >> Peloponnesian war, Athens suffers a plague (hubris), Sparta defeats Athens >>??? >>Sparta never asserts same dominance as Athens because land army and minimalist/rural structure rather than naval power

I don't know what's going to happen. I've never seen this before, most of my friends are swallowing the blue pills by the pound though.
Let's say America starts doing well in the next couple years, will that even change anything in these peoples minds? I think not. They don't seem to want to live in the real world, they live on hopes and dreams, they disregard all statistical evidence and even science in favor of how they want the world to work. As long as the world is not their utopian version of what they want it to be, I don't see them stopping. What's alarming is that they seem to be winning as far as winning peoples hearts. Not surprising considering they control the media, hollywood, and the schools.
