Poorfag here
I'm doing my taxes and I realized since I was too poor to afford insurance I'm at risk of losing damn near my entire tax refund.
Technically I made enough to afford it according to the government, but thats complete bullshit. I havent been to a doctor or pharmacy in years and live independently.
What are the chances president Trump gets rid of that fine before April when I'm forced to file. Am I better off waiting until then to try and avoid it?
Pic vaguely related

You're forced to pay for medical stuff even though you never went to the doctor?
How much do you owe Obama?

Not sure what it is now but I was only covered 4 months two years ago and it cost me $1800
I made $25k total that year

Hold off on filing untill the last minute that way you can see will get rid of it

>see will get rid of it

See if he will get rid of it

Apparently it's going to be a sizable fine. The bare minimum is enough to take my entire return and make me miss rent.
I bring home maybe 12,000 a year, work full time and live in an area with a retarded high cost of living.

Has he said anything about doing it?

>Has he said anything about doing it?

I've read a few articles saying he is. He knows it's a rip off.

I'm in the same boat as you. I use to have good insurance for my whole family and it took care of everything we needed then Obama care fucked me I got notice that my insurance wasn't good enough and I'd have to buy more expense insurance.. it was to much money so I cancelled it now I have to pay that damn fine for me, my wife and 2 kids. Still cheaper than the fucking insurance.

My dad was a veteran but he died when I was young and sent the whole family into poverty. I had insurance until the day it got passed because of that. Everyone moved into a tiny house so I left when I was young because there was no space.
It's honestly going to leave me homeless if it's more than the tax return itself.
I was going to use my return to move closer to the city I work in so I can just take my bike there instead of needing cabs and having to bum rides.

That sucks man. Hope he does something quick so you don't get screwed

Do some research I read somewhere he instructed the IRS to heavily give the individuals the benefit of the doubt when enforcing the ACA.

So you could probably just say you had insurance and they would never check. But I'm not sure about this, like I said just something I read.

Our demographic is the one getting screwed over by this bill. Doubly so if you're not getting it though a job.
