What happens here?

Why is there an explicitly Jewish territory inside of Russia when only 0.2% of the population there is Jewish, and when Israel exists?

Because the soviets wanted a alternative to zionism

Easier to gas when they've self segregated inside your territory. Did Putin out-jew the jews?

>Did Putin out-jew the jews?
American education, not even once

Because Birobijan is a ebin name for a city, and it was created by Stalin before Israel was a thing.

> deport jews as far away from Moscow as possible.
Sounds like a good solution, desu

What is the difference between oblast, krais, republic, federal cities and autonomous okrugs? Which one has the most freedom?

Hmm... really makes you think.

republic, it has its own constitution

all in all its all too complicated to try understand

What is Jew York?

>Jews have their own territory in some shitty area far away from anything of relevance
>this means they totally rule Russia

Fucking fag, do you also believe Indian tribes rule the US because they've got their reservations?

They were relocated there en masse like the ukrainian muslims were moved to a place long ago and only recently were some allowed to return bringing trouble with them as you might expect.

It was an isolation zone to which to deport Jews in the USSR.

thanks

It was a failed experiment.

This is purely Stalin's project. But it didn't work out, because it has shit weather conditions and is in the middle of nowhere

2nd nuke site

because Stalin thought it would be funny to force all Russian Jews to live in a shitty city in Siberia, but then Israel was created and they all fucked off

delet this

in soviet russia you pay the jew to live.

:D

Passed through there on my way back across Siberia. Basically, it's a totally useless (and piss-poor, even by Russian standards) region that was supposed to become the Red Zion in the 1930s but that didn't work out, and since then it's just gopniks, railroad infrastructure of the Transsib, endless forests and poachers selling stuff to China which is just across the border. No Jews are that stupid to live there of course.

There have been numerous talks that the meaningless region needs to be merged either with Amur oblast to its left or Khabarovsk Krai to its right, but the problem is it remains the only Autonomous Oblast of the Russian Federation and since this type of region is stated in the Constitution, dissolving it would require not just a referendum but also a Constitution amendment—which is not that much a problem either, but Putin is reluctant to rewrite the Constitution too often.
