Why do Europeans only rent their property?
Why are they such wage cucks?

>caribou

live in permafrost 10 months out of the year

What app is that?

Wow that is cheap.

I wonder if when America becomes Socialist in 4 years if the government will buy up all the houses?

This There's a reason homes/properties are cheap when they're in the tundra

Look at the rail by the front door. The parents died and the kids don't want it.

we bailed out the lenders, their portfolios should have been revalued which would have forced them to call in mortgages and sell off properties because the asset wouldn't cover the loan.
Those with a property could borrow against it to pay a deposit on another property and secure a mortgage and then rent it out.
The government kept interest rates just above zero and again provided securites to lenders so borrowers could be lent money against an asset that was in reality worth 50% less than valuation.
More people buy porperties to let or even just to hold as an investment an keep empty.

>implying there will be houses after the civil war
Time to invest in that doomsday bunker while you still can.

>tfw paying my mortgage with neetbux and rent money while renting a cheap condo

Europeans have been bred to be cattle for the monarch/elites
Americans are the people who rejected that type of group think, at least for a while anyway
>pic related, average European

This is a bit misleading because a house like that near a major metropolitan area (ie, an area with white collar jobs) would cost way more. That house in a New Jersey suburb near NYC would be about 300k. This is why I still rent, despite being a young attorney. It's ridiculous. The American Dream of home ownership is dead for most people.

Why do Euros come on here, post pictures of a shitty house in the US that costs $50k and say it would cost them like $400k?

tell that to us here in canada where the average house is 500K

Augustafag here

Carabou is in the middle of bumfuck. Enjoy your trees and radar stations.

Because it would

Who here /rentingaroomwithanotherfamily/?

Good thing I actually like cold weather and cheap houses.

I used to.

His Ex Mrs kept coming around and meant he couldnt break away and get on with his life so I fucked her.

She didnt come around anymore after that.

Where is your God now?

>I'm an atheist who doesn't give a shit about people having died in a house
>I like cheap houses
>Cold weather shaped the brains of the Ubermensch
I see nothing wrong here.

I thought Europeans weren't allowed to make buildings out of wood.

We can (at least here), but we dont do it because they are useless an problematic. We preffer brick/rock ones that are safer and fit better with our climatic conditions.

>I thought Europeans weren't allowed to make buildings out of wood.

Cheap Russian wood.
Many jurisdictions still wont allow them though

>problematic

What's the catch ?

black neighbors

Realtor

No catch, people are pussies who'd rather live in Florida than the great north.

>Why do Europeans only rent their property?
They don't. It's Americans who rent for ridiculous prices.

It's right next to quebec

Nope
The worst should be your neighbors spoke Canadian French

>implying I'm not sitting in a home that I completely own on land that I completely own

>implying that living in pure nature in an area 99% white is undesirable

Enjoy your concrete jungle, schizophrenia, loud noises, and being removed from where man is meant to be, you dindu. When you grow up, you will learn why country living is best for the family unit.

Nice try commie. You live I a commie block in reality

I could buy that house outright in about a years time, maybe two. Maybe I'll become an American and move to the USA.

it is in my opinion the most beautiful area in the country.

Have genuinely been considering moving to the US if Trump makes it easier just because of land value.

Also, with the decrease in the value of the pound, and the greater salaries in the US (in terms of amount of your nation's currency for the same position), i'm pretty sure people from the US are now financially better off if they travel to the UK than vice versa.

Like I can get a 5 bedroom house with a pool and a nice sized garden for the same price as a 2 bedroom box shithole in the UK in a terible area.

See CA housing prices. That same house would cost 450k+ easy. I'm never going to get a fucking house.

I own a big plot of land on the countryside, actually.

Simple :
>much higher population density on a smaller territory
>less space available that isn't already constructed
>this increases the price of land
>free market happens
>land ownershit becomes more expensive the closer you are to the center of a town
>town is where the jobs are
>you do the math
You can buy a piece of land for nothing here too, if you don't mind living in the middle of nowhere, with no road in sight and the closest village being several dozen kilometers away.
Also, before you go on about the yuropoors, please check the housing prices in US town centers instead of posting a cheap deal in the middle of the tundra.

Gardinerfag here. At least northern Maine isn't filled with libtards like southern Maine.

Pic related

Caribou is literally 99% white; Maine is the whitest state in the union.

That's pretty impressive then. But the town looks incredibly isolated.

We are full. Fuck off

I welcome all Anglos to our fair nation as long as you truly become American, like our ancestors here did.

wtf it isn't even close to downtown either KEK

Is California the stupid tax on liberals?

>Europeans weren't allowed.....
Depends on country.

>overpriced stick house tornado bait
nah thanks
I can buy a bigger house made from actual house materials such as bricks for half that price

>Europeans have been bred to be cattle for the monarch/elites.

Get back to sucking the corporal cock.

Ever been to Norway? Most people own their own property here.

>not living in a $1.5m house with a $0.4m mortgage, which is basically free due to low interest rates

There's plenty of cheap houses in Sweden too if you want to live out in nowhere.

Then fucking leave California.

Come to vancouver. I bought a 700sq ft condo for 600k CAD

Correct if I'm wrong, but San Francisco is literally the most expensive housing market in the country, more expensive than Manhattan. That is because it is such a small city, and it doesn't really have room to expand. They also have very harsh laws about housing height, and don't allow tall residential buildings in most of the city. Thus, the average rent for a 2 bedroom apartment in San Francisco is 4,500-5,000 USD. (Seriously)

It's sad, but this is the reason I fucking hate monarcucks more than anything else. How can you let a black stain on your honour like that exist? You're proud to have a tradition where your ancestors were the chattel to the ancestors of another? What a disgraceful, unthinking, inwardly hideous people. I can't even pity them. I know only disgust.

There aren't any tornados in Maine. You guys don't use lumber because it's more expensive. I've seen stick built houses that are 100+ years old and still in great shape. It's not really practical to have a house that lasts much longer. New building technologies are such that keeping an old house up to date is more expensive than just rebuilding every 50 years.

Maine has no natural disasters, unless you count blizzards. There are no tornados or huricanes, or earthquakes in Maine.

Wtf?

How can that shanty cost 350000$?

The average salary in LA has to be more than 25000$ per month or I dont understand what is going on there.

and dumb liberals still want to live there. Good for them

>trees and radar stations
lel.

>Maine
>torandos

lol

You're paying for the land. The house actually brings the value down because it will cost the buyer money to remove it.

The same here, rent culture is not very common.

See
As well, san francisco has a lot of harsh rent control laws. It inflates the cost of other rental and houses to compensate, as well with what else I wrote. This creates the effect that the longer you stay in San Francisco the cheaper (in real cost) your rent becomes, and new comers compensate by paying more. Most economists agree this just fucks the housing market for everyone in the long run (which it does) but there are strong liberal lobbies for it, saying it promotes fairness.

>There are jobs readily available everywhere that pay decent and have good job security

cheap property is cheap because nobody wants to live there, hardly something to brag about

Jesus Christ clean your fucking roof.

You're not making a decent wage anyway if you can't afford a home.

I rent from a non-profit club.

Rent is less than the interest I would have to pay on a mortgage.

Our condos are 500k USD

>worthless property in the middle of nowhere

It's almost like...worthwhile places are more expensive than middle of nowhere????

but housing tends to increase in value over time, in the uk property is a far more effective way to accumulate wealth than any savings scheme

hotpads.com/16-de-long-st-san-francisco-ca-94112-u3y5tk/pad-for-sale

someone fixed it up and its going for double that now

they probably didnt put more than 80k into it, pure profit from smug city libbies

They have plenty of room to expand, its just that the local governments keep kowtowing to NIMBY liberals and declare all the open land as "nature preserves".

Wages in the bay area is rediculous partly because of the cost of living. Nurses make over 120,000 a year (yes just a 2-4 year degree nurse), teachers make 80k+ plus benefits valuing 30-40k a year, and the STEM jobs are obviously all over 100k a year. The working class is who get really fucked over as the inflation goes up and up. Poverty rate in San Francisco is like 40 or 50k a year, while in Maine, that is very well off.

>I'm an atheist
Why do atheists have to declare themselves everytime they make a post?

Go back to Redit.

Same that hereIf the average salary there isnt higher than 15000$ per month that place is a hellhole to live.

In my city, for example, you can rent a 3 room apartment with 2 bathrooms in a good neighbourhood for 450-500 euros (more or less 650$) and for 750 euros the same apartment in the best part of the city with communitary swimming pool.

>There aren't any tornados in Maine
ok so if 1 state doesnt get raped by nature every year that doesnt make the other 60 states safe...

>cardboard houses
FUCKING KEK

welcome to crook county, illannoy. you have to pay 6k every year in property taxes to keep your house valued at only 196k.

I'm making a decent wage for any state but CA. CA is a different fucking animal, you need to make 100+ yearly in order to afford a house and a family.

Why don't people accept these high paying jobs and live in a van for year? You'd end up with a pretty beefy savings account.

>other 60

Then you're not making a decent wage. Think if your income like business. It's nice that your gross is very high, but if your expenses are high as well, then you're not really making much profit anyway.

Investing in the stock market is far more lucrative.

Although I've used my access income to start my own software company.
Something I would never be able to do if I bought a home.

We could use more whites, as long as you are based and not a commie-cuck.

I live in Texas and there are so many jobs in so many different fields in our metropolitan areas right now. I don't know what field you are in but it's pretty much all thriving here. Financial services, tech, auto industry, oil and gas, etc.

Most real estate is fairly priced compared to California and there is also no State level income tax.

>caribou
>nearest mall is 2+ hours away
>no jobs
>no recreation
>no young population
Yeah nah, thats why its dirt cheap.

I don't fucking know. Go be a nurse in San Francisco and live in a van for 10 years if you think it is so smart. If you are 24 when you do it, you'll be 34 and easily have 1 million in the bank account with conservative investing.

People that live there live with like 6 other people to reduce rent costs. It is a shithole to live, but it is full of the most degenerate people on planet Earth.

They literally do that.
businessinsider.com/google-employee-lives-in-truck-in-parking-lot-2015-10

The Varg is weak in you. Obviously still bluepilled

Pretty smart idea actually.

That house is unlivable lol post an actual livable house that doesn't need double the price of the house of work to make it livable.

i think its most likely different for us both, here rental costs are on par with mortgage costs and to out do property value increase on the stock markets you have to be very shrewd and/or very lucky

What

get married to a woman making real money then

Pretty based if you ask me.

i got offered 110k$ a year right out of engineering school to work in Oakland.

i'm not working/living in Oakland for anything less than 200k$
