Before calling me a concern troll please just hear me out. This reaction to Trump's immigration ban has me very concerned. Wanting to stop refugees and Muslims entering the country seems utterly logical and even morally responsible.

And yet, so many people are protesting this and acting like it's a horrible thing. I'm starting to think most people really are lost to cultural marxist brainwashing. It is clear that a lot of the populace will not accept limiting immigration from Africa and the Middle East.

I can't believe we've come to this point, where millions of Americas think it's wrong to limit immigration. Seems like no matter what we do, the US and Europe will be overrun by Africans and Middle Easterners soon enough.

But this isn't what the ban accomplishes. People are upset because it creates difficulties for people who have green cards for example, who have lived and worked in the US for years and have families here.

Executive actions work much the same way, actually; they only mean anything if you can get people to enforce them. Thats why Trump is currently in a way with the Civil Service. And if you support the Civil Service over Trump, you know very little about what you Civil Service has been up to.

My optimistic view was that people would cool down once they realized that this Muslim ban wasn't a permanent thing and that they shouldn't be as freaked out as they are about it. But the media really doesn't give a shit about reporting things how they truly are, so they're just going to keep riling people up by misconstruing every single thing Trump does.

Without adhering to the constitution's framework, and if executive actions, which only require the vote of the president can be utilized, that separation is broken. This is a major battle ground, and is basically the first hurdle being put up against the new Trump administration.

An absurd amount of vested interests want to put up this barrier to try and damage his reputation or force him to backtrack. They want to divide countries like the US and UK to stem the flow of anti-establishment pushback.

You can see it with the mass media coverage and the transparently astro turfed protests that magically appear in the right places in an instant.

This is basically the first of many big fights in a war of ideology. If the Trump candidacy was Season 1, then this is the big budget set piece of Season 2 to hook people in.

All Trump has to do is refuse to buckle to the pressure stand his ground - there will be other resistances, but this is by far the most meaningful one. If he treats the protest as just hot air, it will take the wind out of the sails of further protests as they will seem futile and masturbatory.
