pole

Pole

russiabro, you're pronouncing 'politically' incorrectly

>the pol in "politics" is pronounced like "paul"
>the pol in "politically" is pronounced like "pole"
Do other languages do this? Changing the pronunciation of a word to be different from its root word seems pretty strange.

I've always just pronounced it 'pole' but I'm retarded so what do I know.

pole, like pole-itically incorrect.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender

Paul rhymes with mall or tall, it doesn't rhyme with pole

I guess Slavic languages pronounce their own word for politics with the sound of paul.

My parents say the start of the word politika and paul the same way.

It's 'pul'

"Pole" as in "pole-smoking faggot." Why in the fuck would anyone say "paul?"

>itt retards with diffrent accents asserting thier way of speech is correct

Always said poll.

I remember Hyde pronouncing it that way when arguing with Tim Heidecker in Tim's call-in show.

In American English it's often "pole" when the word political is used. But "Pul" is more accurate.

Pole, duh

true
probably this. I speak with a strong slavic accent because I don't give a fuck and because speaking properly tires me out in a couple of minutes.
