Only great thing white people accomplished is exploration. They didn't invent the technology that made it possible, but with their ambition they explored the world and created wealth and empires. Same can be said for space, for some reason white people are great explorers that other races can't compare.
Aside from that, they haven't excelled at anything other cultures haven't. Science, Jews got you beat, especially considering their relative population. Conquerors and empires, white people are hardly the only ones to form an empire. Persians, Mongols, Chinese, and Arabs all established great and powerful empires.

This societal advancement went hand in hand with technological advancement eventually leading to the Renaissance.
In addition to that during the early colonization of the Americas nobody outside of Europe was really in a position to colonize. The Chinese were content with using the Silk Road for the most part and were fairly isolationist and the Islamic states didn't really have any sense of unity and no states had the stability to invest in exploration. The only state that really had the theoretical potential to invest in exploration was the ottoman empire and they were tied up in the Balkans against the various coalitions constantly being assembled.
