Trump before the election

What was your opinion of Donald Trump before he announced he was running for president?

Non-americans, did you even know who he was?

Before he run for president i use to think of him as an odd fella... Then i start following the primaries supporting sanders, then i start watching his rallies and speeches and say "he still an odd fella but i like his ideas". When he won the primaries i was like "This looks like a clinton scheme to rig the shit, but i hope it back fires". And now we are living the dream.

Thanks burger, first time in this decade im exited and full of hope about the future.

didn't know much about him, just he was a rich real estate guy who thought o*ama wasnt born here. never woulda guessed he was a bantsmaster/savior of western civilization

Fucking retard social media craver degenerate who uses his wealth to bully and pretends like he's royalty while living in a giant gold lined tower narcissisticly bearing his name. Nothing has really changed.

My dad worked for him in the 80's, so i watched some of his shows in like 2013, otherwise i didn't knew shit about him

I knew him as the only guy who saw Atlantic City dying.

Old billionaire who liked younger women and owned casinos. All I knew.

First time hear about him was on the apprentice.
Great guy, make thing him want to do.

Knew him as some dude who owned the main casino in Atlantic City and the birther movement.
Thought he was a playboy and someone to try and be. Proud to have voted for him and excited to see what the future now holds.

i just knew him as some rich guy who liked showing how much money he had far too often

>He has a beautiful soul

Didn't know much about him other than that he's some rich fucker. I saw Trump at a department store in NYC some 20 odd years ago. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with some furniture in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for that first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the items and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each item and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I honestly was naive about the world until I visited Sup Forums, but I never had bad opinions about him. As a child I remember how I've seen a documentary on TV about him, showing his business, how he lives etc. I didn't know shit but found him cool kek. My next exposure to him was when Mac Miller made a track about him, so I always connected Trump with success while not knowing shit about him. And then came the elections. The rest is history.

Did not care for him as a reality-star. Imagined him as probably a good negotiator that was not ever paying more than he needed for anything.

Then the election started, and he actually went against the people who have funded every candidate from both parties for decades from the get go. Funded his own campaign, clearly did not want to owe anything to anyone so he could do a great job.

All my respect was won after he became a "politician". He is pretty much doing what I would do in his position.

who has the trump pasta at the restaurant where he drops the food in the trashcan

Thought he was a joke to be frank.

Just another real estate asshole. But in the right context an asshole is good.

>Knew him since I was a child, he was big in the early 90's
>Aways had a very positive
view of him
>Now that he is no longer a democrat is based as fuck I have a EXTREMELY POSITIVE VIEW OF HIM AND BASED USA

>Never liked negrobama, when he came to brazil he was all around sucking Lula's dick and sliding it down his blck cuck throat

Didn't know much about him; everybody thought he was a joke, so I did too. Groupthink is a powerful thing, it's amazing how much I've changed.

Watched the comedy central roast and they were making jokes about him running for president as if it was impossible lmao

Also, the efforts put forth to make him look bad in the media made me sure that he was the real deal.

I wish someone with no ties to the political elite in my own country could reshape my country the way he is going to reshape the US. I'm against EVERY politician that sucks dick to get into power. And that is every single politician ever. Until Trump.

i always tought that no respectable man could unironically be that orange and have such shitty hair. so far he is proofing me wrong

Same here. It's really kind of shocking how much shit you just accept because other people say so.

I had no idea who Trump really was, just what people said.

Didn't really know much about him except he was really rich. Frequently got him confused with Rupert Murdoch.

...

The "You're fired" guy who absolutely hated king nigger. He was alright in my book

"that guy on The Apprentice"

Seemed like a cool dude acting mean for TV. Liberals apparently think showmanship isn't a thing.

Just some rich dude. Trump was synonymous with wealth.
As long as I can remember he has just been there just being rich.

As a long time Doonesbury reader Trump was no biggie.

I mean, we survived Reagans brain...

Liberals don't understand loyalty either, that's why they are protesting.

I was raised by liberals, to "become the next generation that is going to be the new society". It's batshit insane-shit where you don't put yourself first, because everyone should put others needs first, and if everyone does that, the world will be better. It pretty much makes you lose at life.

I'm a conservative and have tried to explain loyalty to them. They end up saying insane shit like "yeh, and that's why they are wrong" when I explain how they have a deeper understanding of loyalty because it makes you end up better than with some kind of universal altruism.

didn't know much about him except that he is filthy rich and is a tv personality.

didn't really have an opinion on him before but since i found out that he is a hilarous shitposter, who can control the meme realm with his brain waves, i love him.

Some rich developer with a reality show

Now I hope he'll be the best President our country's ever had.

Never heard off him until our media said that there was a presidential US candidate who wanted to build a wall

to sum it up: you can't trust someone who is liberal. They will never assign you with a higher value than anyone else, no matter how close of a relationship you have.

Tweeter-In-Chief

Now it's official.

Some businessman that had a reality show, of which I had seen only commercials on tv. So basically only knew that he existed, that's it.

Guy with funny hair that the Simpsons made a joke about. I didn't even know about the apprentice.

>Liberals don't understand loyalty either, that's why they are protesting.
Do you think there wouldn't be massive protests from asspained conservatives if Hillary had won? Do you think they would feel loyal to her? Please try to be intellectually honest in your answer.

Before the election he was brining up Imagration issues which weren't on the political radar before

>Imagration

It's people like you who make americans look bad.

Conservatives historically accepts the democratic process. What did asspained conservatives do when Obama won? They were bitching on the internet, because they understand that: Hey, Obama won the election.

So no, I do not think they would have massive protests. They would stand by the US, because they are loyal to the US. No matter who is the president. Would they like the fact that they were run by a Hillary-government? No. And liberals don't have to love the Donald. They just have to accept that they lost the election. And now it's Trump who is president. They are litterally dividing the US.

I learned about him when I was about 12, playing Airline Tycoon. The cheat to get a bunch of money was "donaldtrump".

I remember asking my dad about him, and he said something like "just some rich american dude".

I thought he was some rich real estate guy who has a TV show.

Mostly indifference really.

Sadly Conservatives in action (the house) spend 8 years completely cockblocking everything and basically shutting down congress because they lost causing massive issues and the resentment of the right that Obongo didn't do anything.

>before election
Draft dodger, weird, divorced two times, shitty human.

>During/after election
GOD EMPORER TRUMP WILL REIGN FOREVER

>before
some rich american

>after seeing 1 minute of a Trump rally
TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP

these

Conservatives won the democratic process when it came to places in the congress. They had the power to say "no, we do not agree with this, we will vote against it on behalf of the american public".

That's how a democracy works. I don't think you guys in the US have a very good democracy, but it's the system you have decided to have. If you can win most of the seats in the congress for the democrats, I'm sure you will be able to stop a lot of the stuff you disagree with Trump on. Rioting in the streets only makes you look like irrational people who do not accept the democratic process. That's my opinion, sitting in my sofa in Norway. I might be wrong. As a rational human being I have to admit that to myself. However, I don't see any proof that I might be wrong this time.

I remember during the 2008 election that he joked about running for office. At the time I thought nothing of it but figured it would be good to run the country like a business for 4 years and work off all the debt.

I thought he was a reality tv loud mouth fame whore

Now I think he's like a trailer park bastard who won the lottery and got elected white trash king

Either way, an idiot

I may have heard his name once, but I didn't really know who he was. Even during the Campaign I wasn't sure if he was trustworthy. But now that he is President and that he is enacting the policies that he said he would do, he has earned my trust.

Prior to the election I thought of Trump (not that I thought about him much at all) as some rich sleazy businessman and TV personality sell-out. I borderline hated him.

Even at the beginning of the election cycle I still did not care for him at all and thought that his run for the presidency was more of a stunt than a serious attempt.

It was only when it was starting to be obvious that the election would come down to him or Hillary that I started paying attention. Now I think he is the greatest human being alive.
