Real wood is no longer an affordable option for furniture as it costs so much. Meat is getting so expensive it is becoming out of reach for normal people. Animals have to be abused in factories to feed everyone. Pollution is out of control. Rivers are polluted, the sky is polluted.

We do have a lot of trees but not in the areas people have to live to be close to work.

It's very simple. 100 years ago we had fertility rates that were above replacement level because all the women weren't wasting their lives doing men's work.
