I only shop at Tesco, simply because it's the most convinient place for me to shop at on my way home from work. The only other option I realistically have is Sainsburys and that isn't half as big as the Tesco I go to.
About 5 years ago I would rather have gone to the Sainsburys, but I feel as though Tesco have vastly improved over the past couple of years.
Still, do the supermarkets really need so fucking many varities of apple? Seriously, I go in, go over to the fruit and veg section and I'm presented with about 10 different types of apple to choose from. It's totally excessive and not at all necessary.
It's not so bad when I'm after pears, they've got 4 different varities of pear AT MOST. When it comes to apples though, jesus fucking christ. I can't believe there hasn't been a case of a lefty MP making a big fuss over this yet, claiming that all these supermarkets and their enormous fruit and veg section are harming the environment because the likes of Tesco and Sainsburys just HAVE to accomodate every species of apple on the fucking planet.
Lastly, I take a trip tp Aldi every few months so I can stock up on nuts because they're an absolute fortune everywhere else.
