then read the Book of Acts, and Stephen Mitchell's 'The Gospel According to Jesus', and read the bios of some saints like Saint Anthony and Saint Francis, and then some Thomas Merton.

I was an atheist for 25 years before becoming a christian.

It's not easy it's a years long process especially if youre a rational muh proof type of fag which i am. The good side though is your faith will be stronger than most christian when youre done.

One guy that helped me was Ravi Zacharias. He has top tier stuff online. Of course youre not gonna say ''wtf im a christian'' after 1 video but he helped me a lot.

I also like Pastor Anderson stuff too he's pretty real and entertaining. Being entertaining is important esp when youre an atheist otherwise youre gonna get bored.

Learning about the history of Christianity and how significant it is on our lives really had an impact on me.

Reading passage of the bible you like is obviously very good too. Everybody has passages he likes

I would suggest that you seek out a priest near you and have a discussion with him. Talk about how you want to find God, learn a bit more about Christianity, talk about any events that may have made you feel more spirtiual?

Next I would advice you to look into apolegetics (Christian arguments) against any thing that may be keeping you in doubts about Christianity. For example you may not believe Jesus existed. Well then you can look at apologetics in regards to that, such things such as hisorical records showing he existed, thinking about how some guy who didn't exist would have people get murdered in horrible ways to spread His teachings. Wait but they're just doing that to start a religion for their own personal gain? What personal gain? They gave up all their belongings and lived shitty lives? Christians were prosecuted for 300 years and they held by it why?

Anyone who tempts a denomination with amenities is a deceiver who uses works for their own desires, heathens.

You should come into religion first through faith in a higher power, the highest power, and then search for answers when you have the footing to ask proper questions.

Religion isn't necessary if you have faith alone, but it is useful in finding faith when lost, instilling the joys of walking in the spirit in both you, your kids and family.

Getting involved locally will cull your hatred once you have a springboard to project that frustration.

I still am very angry with liberals, the left, modernists and all other brands of degeneracy. I will still forgive the people, but the shit they do is sinful and therefore its righteous hatred. Don't try force it. The kindness tends to happen over time. I was an empathetic manipulative asshole before I found Christ. Manipulative, dick and asshole were all words people have used to describe me. After months of finding Christ I've gained empathy for people, I feel sorry for big accidents instead of laughing. People now say I'm the nicest person they've ever known. People come to me for advice and help. I did nothing. The Holy Spirit just kind of worked on me as I became more and more Christian. I didn't try force it. (I did pray that I'd become more Christian, not for others but for Christ)

So I say to you pray to help you be more sympathetic and loving to others. Do this regularly. And be patient.

You should hate sin. Especially sin within yourself.

Then you should love God. And love your neighbor. As for "liberals", and "conservatives", and other political labels, what do you think? If they promote sin, or hate God, then teach them the truth. If they will not hear you, then leave them in their sin. "Hate" for them never needs to enter into it.

This doesn't mean you can't resist them or argue with them. Just that hate has nothing to do with it. In fact, if your arguments are motivated by love for God and love for your neighbor (including liberals) I promise you your words will be far more persuasive, and you will either convince them to rethink things, or trigger them into a fit of rage.

There's nothing those types hate more then arguing with someone who is speaking the truth from a place of love. It drives them insane.

Christianity is the ultimate redpill OP. Any detractors that might be found with it are solely the fault of mankind's meddling ways. My wholehearted advice is that you pray in earnest, no matter if you don't even know how, and ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit so that He may teach you who He is. I'm not going to waste time going on about my journey to Christ, but I can assure you it was an unlikely turn of events to say the least. God has been pouring out His Spirit more and more lately. Something big is about to happen. Regardless of what you hear from any naysayers, be it Christians insisting on Catholic derived Canon or Sup Forums's complete disregard for any texts that could be regarded as Jewish, the books of Enoch, Jubilees, and Jasher are all quintessential to your understanding of our Father, the history of our existence, and, as found in Enoch, a warning for a future generation. Any suggestion otherwise simply denotes a lack of research. These texts were literally buried and later deemed noncanon for a very distinct purpose. I'll let you discover why for yourself.
