Mukiwa sounded interesting to me since it's a biographical account of a white Rhodesian raised in a wealthy liberal family trying to attend art school who then got drafted into the bush war, and later came back to the country as a journalist documenting the atrocities of the new regime. From what I've heard, it seems like a perspective of utter, crushing disillusionment.

Is it strange I read the story of Rhodesia from the wikipedia article and immediately sympathized for the Rhodesians?
