Not gonna lie, former Trump voter here. This is fucking hilarious watching Trump crash and burn. But in all seriousness we can't let this guy get the nuclear codes.

I don't have to know anything about it. If Trump is doing it, it's right.

There is no such thing as a former Trump voter you tard, you can't take it back

I suspect that his repeal of Obamacare will just be medicare for all, because he's running the country like a company, and companies eat that cost, if they want to function.

Fuck white people and fuck Donald Trump.

It's easy to tell new people from posts like this... (you)

...

Repealing Dodd-Frank would just be setting us up for a massive economic depression.

If we undergo that during his term I think people would want to drag Trump out on the street and hang him, so I hope he's not THAT big of a retard.

Bravo for repealing Dodd-Frank.

A total fuckup on the Fiduciary Rule. The vast majority of brokers are the pond scum of the earth. They are at best ignorant and often dispense awful advice for their clients. Although I'd like to live in a world without a Fiduciary Rule, this was the one redeeming feature that is appropriate for the industry.

dodd-frank is as much a pathetic joke as sarbanes-oxley is

reinstating glass-steagall and killing HFT is what is needed.

i want to eat that bread

Imagine licking those toes

>a fucking space between post number and text
>2 different ideas saying the same thing
please please please please fuck the fuck off shareblue/crew/ctr. you guys need to get laid.

Nice failed meme.

well, yeah, if he repealed Dodd Frank to reinstate glass steagall that'd be acceptable. But just letting banks run completely reckless and unregulated is asking for a full blown depression.

That's a dude you fucking queer

No homo

Dodd Frank froze the problem without ever fixing it and then monopolised the industry. Instead of reinstating Glass Steagall, it created barriers to entry too high for competition, protected against subprime loans and also made it extremely difficult for banks to profit. While I support hurting (((banks))) a bit, especially big kahunas like (((Wells)))(((Fargo))), the Dodd Frank just froze an entire industry to stop a problem while not fixing it.

Also, on DF, I heard Trump was keeping a few aspects of it that he liked like he is doing with the ACA...?

The ACA is a tax. I bet 60% of the "aided" people are prisoners from prisoners outsourcing their costs to the Fed Gov.
We need more competition to drive down costs and allow more and more people to profit.

I've only just started reading up on what's going on surrounding Dodd-Frank and the ACA. What is the likelihood that his administration would reinstate Glass Steagall?

>calling out ways they can improve
get necked

This is what the ACA should be replaced with, but it's never going to happen because it will require a tax hike.

To correct my original post, I meant to cite the CPA (Consumer Protection Act). Sorry for the confusion, had just read up on the ACA, but we can also discuss that as well

Both are socialist programs. If you wanted to regulate the banks you should have voted for Hillary.

The thing is that Dodd-Frank fucked up as much as it fixed, and is directly responsible for all the banking scandals we've seen in the last year or two, since it seriously impacted the ability for banks to remain solvent: Commercial and Financial sections couldn't touch, which made paperwork a nightmare.

All this, and it didn't even address the cause of the financial crisis: Mortgage lenders.

Bread heels.

I care more about getting Glass-Steagal back than repealing Dodd-Frank

I don't mind if part of the Trump formula is to exploit a corrupt and broken financial system to get us out of a hole and reorder the future world order, but he's going to have to deliver an end result to justify the means.
