Is Crime and Punishment actually good? And how is it Sup Forums approved? I've only read about 20-40 pages or so and it doesn't impress me.

The first 20-40 are mainly to introduce you into the world and give you a little bit of insight into the main character to prime you for what happens next. Just read it.

He's a great writer, I'd check out his prison diaries as well. Speer was a complicated man, reading his memoirs you get the sense that he was an unfulfilled but ambitious man looking for a master that would enable him to do great things. Ultimately he found Hitler. In any other circumstances Speer would have been a celebrated architect but because he lacked principles he ended up being Hitler's war industry fireman.
