I am just messing around, over 90% of immigrants in Poland are from Ukraine and it is not great, but not that bad either. In 2016 a 1.5M Ukrainians did about 1.5k crimes (ministry of internal affairs gave data like this). Personally I find them a good, hardworking people. Decent ones stay here, bydło goes to Germany. Oh, that's a tough question. We have a lot of history lessons in school, we have a lot of museums, but I doubt that there is a big need for archeologists, but I am not really a one to ask that.

Holy fuck, it feels great to live in Warsaw! You have kebab joints literally every few streets, mostly ran by actual middle easterners and mostly open 24/7. I can buy spring rolls from real gook. In my workplace I have colleagues from Turkey and India who are both friendly and competent.
At the same time we have no ethnic neighbourhoods, no sharia patrols, no armies of aliens leeching off welfare or lowering wages for most vulnerable groups. We didn't suffer a single terrorist attack so far. We have all the advertised benefits of multiculturalism while not suffering any of its drawbacks.
Polish immmigration policy is one of the few things we've done right. Just screen the fuckers to get the right ones. When the west will learn?

Not OP, but basically - it depends on you. I won't lie and say it's a wonderful country - like most places in the world, we have our issues. Stereotypical now emigration for seasonal work, for example, stemming from kinda crappy job market and average pay. Our own government kissing up a bit too hard to church. Still visible, even if barely remnants of old, communist days in form of some crappier neighbourhoods and local equivalent of white trash (though the stereotypical buzzcut squatting tracksuit-wearing teens are practically nonexistant anymore and more of a Russian stereotype than Polish one in the first place).

At the same time, given state of both of US and big part of Europe, we're pretty stable. Country, bit by bit improves, even little shitty town I live in grown and improved quite much over the last few years, with new centres, offices etc being built, streets modernized. Crime rates aren't very high in comparison with some actual shitholes, people are reasonable enough to neither go full-racism nor allow rapefugees to walk all over us or offer them free gibs just so they'll stay. Kinda glad for that one. There's more balance between left and right than in US where behavior of certain groups and people is really appaling to us - stuff like pretentious, spoiled kids wrecking shit at Berkeley because of hurt feelings would be taken more much seriously and resolved much more quickly (and likely, not happen in the first place). Society's in general somewhat on the conservative side but with some open mind and space for growth, just not virtue signalling it.

If you have education, aren't a smug, pretentious asshole and are willing to work, you can find a place here. There's stuff still needing work - there always is no matter how much things improve - but when I see what kind of shitfest happens all over the world, I don't mind living here. Wroclaw is a freaking diamond of a city. But basically any major city in Poland is damn beautiful and interesting as of now. I personally am planing on moving there or back to Warsaw next year, once I gather some exp here, learn the language and will be able to get at least 5k PLN netto.

opinion on that are SEVERELY divided, even among Crimeans themselves. Some did really want to join Russia, some not - at all. Russia didn't only back them on request against some oppressors, though. Dunno if it reached Leaflandia, but here news of armed convoys of Russian "unofficial volunteers" coming to Crimea were pretty big and also one of the reasons why during that period Russia got pretty shit reputation for Crimea in Poland.

I'm living in Germany since mid-Oktober last year and I miss Poland so much.

Things like access to internet, advancement in mobile networks and modern banking, quality of food and choice of different foods - it's all way better in Poland than it is in Germany.

Infrastructure was shit 10 years ago, now it's pretty good. Still needs improvement, but in a few years it should be Germany-tier with highly developed net of highways and high-speed trains connecting major cities.

If you are from STEM fields - you can easily get a good-paid job in Poland. Especially if you are specialized in IT.

5000 (~1250 Euro) PLN in Poland provides you with comparable or better life than 2500 Euro in Germany. You just gotta save longer for a new car or a new phone, but in IT you can easily get 10 000 Euro if you have experience.
