I don't see antifa's position being deligitimized anywhere. This is why the left became so strong. They change public perception so that the leftist violence, whether overt or implicit, is not seen as violence at all. The left protests, never riots. It's always agents-provocateurs who commit the violence. This narrative goes on until the left has control of the state, at which point their violence becomes enshrined in law.

Maybe. For now, we can only wait and see. It could turn out to be like the Occupy movement, where everyone just gave up and forgot about it. It could get much worse. There's also the wild card of unpredictable events that quickly and dramatically swing things in one or the other direction. There are historical precedents for all of these things, so I wouldn't be so certain about how this will turn out.
