lol! le communist memes! hilarious!

Get fucking lynched marxist faggot.

Stfu kike

Take a bath you disgusting yid.

not until you admit that Rent is a factor of production

The classical liberal distinctions between land, labor and capital were greatly confused by socialists, and particularly Marxists, who substituted the fuzzy abstract term, "means of production," for all three factors. They also blurred the distinction between common property and state property, for socialists believed, as royalty also believed, that they were the people.

Today, the confusions between land and capital and between state property and common property are shared by socialists and royal libertarians, and only classical liberals keep these distinctions clearly defined. Yet royal libertarians frequently duck the land issue by charging that it is the classical liberals, not the royal libertarians, who have embraced socialist ideas.

What does it mean to seize the means of production

Problem is the workers dont know wtf to do with the means of production once they seize it.

...

Why idolize Marx? What did he ever do but foment bloody revolutions and poverty en mass?

Our focus should be on Henry George, a true patriot in the vain of Thomas Pain. This mans ideas gave rise to the most sweeping and liberating progressive era in American history but youve never heard of him. Georges ideas get buried by the corporate education system while Marx is celebrated. Its time to break free from capitalism's false promise and embrace a single tax on land value; it will liberate society

In simple terms:
>Grab her by the pussy

To seize the means of production, you take back what you produce and not sell your soul to the pork boss

...

What is your point?

Stop with this lame attempt at a forced maymay and get a job you fucking neet.

this

The only reformer abroad in the world in my time who interested me in the least was Henry George, because his project did not contemplate prescription, but, on the contrary, would reduce it to almost zero. He was the only one of the lot who believed in freedom, or (as far as I could see) had any approximation to an intelligent idea of what freedom is, and of the economic prerequisites to attaining it....One is immensely tickled to see how things are coming out nowadays with reference to his doctrine, for George was in fact the best friend the capitalist ever had. He built up the most complete and most impregnable defense of the rights of capital that was ever constructed, and if the capitalists of his day had had sense enough to dig in behind it, their successors would not now be squirming under the merciless exactions which collectivism is laying on them, and which George would have no scruples whatever about describing as sheer highwaymanry.

Very well.
Proceeding to seizing the means of producing stab wounds in 3, 2, 1...

90% of what workers "produce" anymore are commodities with no intrinsic value outside the context of consumer capitalism. Seizing the means of commodification is nonsense.

MODS

The point is Marx is a false god and George gave us a solution to poverty and economic injustice that allows for individual liberty.

Become a Geolibertarian and free the world

We are libertarians who make the classical liberal distinction between land, labor and capital. We believe in the private possession of land without interference from the state, but in the community collection of land rent to prevent monopolization of land.
We believe that all government activities should at least be limited to those which increase the value of land by more than what the government collects, and that government should be funded entirely from the land value increases it creates.

We oppose direct state monopolization of land as well as state-sanctioned private monopolization of land, and advocate that state and federally held land pay land rent to the communities the same as private land.

We advocate that government be allowed to spend only what is authorized by voter referendum or similar device and that it take for itself the minimum it is authorized to spend. Those who advocate collection of the full rent stipulate that the proceeds be divided among community members on a per-capita or similar basis, for the land, and the rent, belong to the people, not the state.

We condemn the taxation of property improvements, and of all activities, productive, consumptive, or recreational, as invasions by the state into the private affairs of free individuals.

Unless you want to change exactly that.

Never liked Marx much. communism never made sense to me. How would a society survive when there is no incentive to work harder or improve your situation? But now that automation and AI are taking off, I see what Marx was getting at - he had so much more long term vision than I was capable of. I think we're already in a spot where folks are feeling capitalism starting to fail them - workers wages are stagnant and all that. And things are only going to get more extreme as these technologies keep improving the return on capital and keeping wages low.

But I dont think it takes a violent revolution to move in the direction marx wrote about. Look at Europe, many states there are well on their way to socialism. Start in with a basic income and there is another giant step in that direction. More and more gradual changes as labor is less and less necessary to produce the goods our society needs. Its not hard to see how the world could gravitate towards communism and nearly reach it in the next 100-200 years.

This can be achieved with land value taxation; check it out

Grab her by the pussy?

Well workers becoming their own leaders is meaningless in the current economy. Marx is outdated; the left must move on or it will continue its shitty decline. FFS fascism is making a comeback! We on the left wing need to stop shootings ourselves in the food.

Kill yourself you thieving communist turd.

THIS.

...

no because I want the means of production to actually produce

I see what you're getting at, but disagree. People controlling their workplaces is as relevant as ever, and we should really try to construct a way to democratically organize the economy. Modern computers definitely make it possible.

Workers becoming their own leaders provides a way stronger message than the weak solidarity stuff we have right now.

no youre wrong; every man has a god given right to reap all the sow

the real answer lies land monopolies; please read up on Henry George. We can have economic justice and liberty at the same time

Marx is outdated. You can't expect to put new horse shoes on a dead horse and make it a champion.

My thoughts on Marxism & An Atheist state/Communist state

Karl Marx held contemptuous views on organized religion, though he never explicitly stated he was an atheist, Marx implemented several theories of nietzschean thinking, the most prominent one being that you can abandon faith in an organized religion to follow your own belief structure, an ubermensch.

Here is where Marx's thoughts on religion and Nietzsche differ, Nietzsche believed it was not possible, or sustainable to have a society in which everyone was an ubermensch, Nietzsche was staunchly anti-hedonism, and in his famous quote "god is dead" - follows up with a sentiment that states it will end in chaos, which it has as seen with the soviet union and state atheism. "God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we, murderers of all murderers, console ourselves? That which was the holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet possessed has bled to death under our knives. Who will wipe this blood off us?"
-
Nietzsche Preidcted what would happen in an atheist state, the soviet union.
>Religion is the opium of the people. - Marx
- It is some what of a catch-22, the dogma of communism and it's weponazation of philosophical thinking is nearly tantamount to the dogma of the church, and organized religion as a whole. Marx was right in the sense that religion was the opium of the people, but he was critically wrong in the implementation of this line of reasoning, because the evils of organized religion was replaced with the evils of communist ideology, because it is ideology that is the opium of the masses, it is a force of unification and tribal deviation. It does not matter if you are a theist, or atheist, but you are a fool to think that religion isn't the ultimate checks and balances system that can be embedded into society, a society without religion is on a pendulum swaying between totalitarianism and hedonistic-nihilism, just look at western society today.

Who do you want seizing production?

>centrally planned economies with an overpowered government are ridiculous!
>centrally planned corporations with an overpowered CEO are great!

how can conservatives hold these views simultaneously?

I don't think most conservatives favor oligopolies

You're over estimating the long-term thoughts and logistics that neo-marxists hold.
