>President Donald Trump, days after being sworn in, issued an executive order directing the U.S. Army Corps to smooth the path to finishing the line. Tuesday's filing was made in U.S. District Court in Washington D.C.
American 'soldiers' turning their guns on their own people.. sad!
Nathaniel Turner
Should have been done long ago, but Obama is a fucking pussy and wanted to sacrifice American national interests and economic growth in order to pander to his political base.
It's a fucking joke that it takes so long for infrastructure to get approved in this country.
It's taking us a decade to get basic shit approved while the Chinese can start instantly and finish in months.
Eli Perry
Yay! I hope for more :D
Jordan Miller
Nice ID
Brayden Cook
We've been dealing with this sort of shit in Canada for years now. Energy is a must when it comes to domestic economic policy. The only option is to steamroll the green-fags and lefties with insurmountable executive action.
Send the fucking feds and crush them. Haters gonna hate
Hunter Allen
Some things are more important than oil. These are the ancesteral homelands of the Crow nation. We ask only to be left to govern our own affairs on our land then the United States sends their Army to shut down our peaceful protests.
This is a disgrace to so called "civilized" people.
Adam Edwards
That particular pipeline doesnt technically pass through the nearby reserve, so no, its not infringing on any "homeland".
The aboriginals of both this nation and yours are beyond special treatment. They have far more self-governance and protection than any other category of citizen.
All this shit started because fucking injuns were too lazy to go back to the negotiating table and blatantly missed the deadline
Grayson Fisher
>U.S. Army Corps Maybe you should look up what the U.S. Army Corps is before the next time you look like a retard on the internet.
Ryan White
>These are the ancesteral homelands of the Crow nation. Crows?
Crows are the tribe who served as pathfinders for, among others G. A. Custer, they are traitors of both Indians(they contributed to their death) and Americans(they purposefully led 7th cav into Little Big Horn)
Parker Johnson
It is going directly through a burial grounds and through a river considered sacred and still used for irrigation and drinking water by our people.
You can't do whatever you want to a river if it goes through multiple plots of land with different owners. This is just US greed. Very typical.
Jonathan Diaz
The Crows did what was best for both our people. Those that didn't cooperate were destroyed. The nation is trying to keep it's culture in tact and that is not an unreasonable request.
Jack Rodriguez
>The Crows did what was best for both our people. Except for different groups of them betraying both Custer and Sioux.
Noah Wood
That's hilarious coming from Poland. How many regime changes have you had in your nation and how often were loyalties changed? You should know better than most that things are more complicated than that.
Brandon Price
who gives a fuck
entire earth is a burial ground and you literally eat and drink stuff that used to be human shit and piss.
Blake Jones
We were the only European monarchy that has never had their monarch assassinated in one way or another. Then the first president we've had was a victim of assassination around a week after he was elected. Talk about irony.
Liam Mitchell
DAFUQ
Like seriously they could have avoided all this bullshit JUST by going like 10 miles north of there.
They're deliberately hurting them.
Justin Price
the "burial and sacred sites" is made up
they do it anytime construction is nearby them to get money.
Xavier Rivera
Exactly. I am glad that not all of Sup Forums is full of illogical bootlickers.
I also find it funny how when ANTIFA and BLM destroy black communities and physically assault Trump supporters there is no reaction. When a few Natives try to halt a pipeline being built by big oil companies there is an immediate response and an executive order.
I thought there would be more suspicion of corporate/political corruption here. It seems like people only agree with it because it upsets natives which they think are out to get them.
Luis Russell
They were going to build through it but the savages wanted more $$ led by a Jew lawyer so now they are building around it and giving them nothing
Noah Thomas
Oil is obsolete and ruining this planet.
If you're going to support infrastructure help promote clean renewable energy instead.
Ethan Adams
So they are building around it after all?
Nathan Ortiz
It's not made up, retard. It's directly north of the Sacred Stone Camp. People are being buried there to this day. Why are you just making things up to protect this oil company that don't give a shit about you or your way of life?
Caleb Gray
You're a fucking moron. The only alternative right now that works is nuclear and libtards are more scared of that than oil.
In 20 years could we be using far less oil? Yes. Right now we are reliant on it though and projects like this are great for the economy.
You need a strong economy to afford solar and renewable to begin with since the up front cost is so high.
Adam Mitchell
In my religion the entire earth is sacred so they should pay me lots of money to build.
No one cares about natives.
Dominic Richardson
They better build a burm or small levee then to make sure if the pipeline magically happens to burst later on, the oil that pools up will be diverted away from their sacred site.
I can definitely see that as one thing they're worried about even if it isnt crossing through their land - sitting right next to it means it could be popped (by somebody) and then flood that little area with oil
Michael Taylor
> by our people. shut up retard it's your greed because you people are upset that they aren't paying you money anymore
Aaron Young
natural survival
natives should be happy that Europeans had pity on them instead of just committing complete genocide on their inferior genetics and culture.
Noah Williams
OK how about nuclear? Yeah of course not, hippies will always obstruct meanwhile other countries don't waste the energy contemplating. The end goal is global dominance not muh feels
Noah Nelson
Okay... you're right, but renewable energy is going to happen whether you bitch about it or not. It's as if you hate the idea of energy coming from the sun instead of the fucking dirt. I get the feeling you around the age of 40.
Dominic Anderson
No one wants money. We don't want it built when it is so intrusive to standing rock
Christian Hall
They've been planning on building around it for a goddamn while now.
Don't know what liberal hippies were protesting about; it wasn't going to use injun land.
James Stewart
the injuns are protesting because thats what they do, upset they aren't getting money for it, and likely their chiefs are getting paid by Warren Buffet
Railroads are direct competition for pipelines
Caleb Rivera
I'm pro solar but you low IQ libtards act like there isn't problems of intermittent drop, storage, or the grid that make it unfeasible without huge adaptations.
Libtards refuse to accept the reality that more solar doesn't solve anything. If you look at historic prices it would have been a massive waste of resources to have installed more solar 5 years ago.
Let the free market decide and invest in R&D in good technologies. Artificially hampering fossil fuels does nothing to improve the world except hurt the economy.
Parker Cruz
Also I would Express to the Natives that having the pipeline there doesnt actually bode evil on their burial site?
Oil is the lifeblood of the earth. Having the blood of the earth drenched over the bodies of your ancestors - isnt quite a bad thing - it even more ties them to the soul of the world.
Not that its a good thing but if I was a Native and actually cared about this, I think its easy to just mentally go straight to smugness over it.
Still it would be one more mark against the natives by the establishment (im sure they'll have someone go up there and blow the pipeline there, might even do it to blame them).
Jace Peterson
>leftists >Americans pick one
Carson Martin
You know what hurts natives?
Substance abuse, low IQ, and poverty
not pipelines. If you want to "save them" as a libtard maybe focus on their real problems and not "maybe in 20 years it bursts and poisons them".
Benjamin Bailey
>ancestral lands they already let the archeologists go in and poke around, there's nothing there >govern our own affairs it's not on tribal land >peaceful protests you guys have released local rancher's herds, attacked police, and been caught constructing pipe bombs, piss off.
David Diaz
im pro T H O R I U M
we dont need the fucking sun, thats for calculators and tiny shit like that
Adrian Jones
Energy from all source is what any logical person wants. The problem is solar cost effectiveness is so fucking garbage right now that there needs to be a couple leaps in innovation before it becomes palpable to the general public
Asher Miller
This
There was a huge bronze deposit discovered in indian land
The next week it magically became a holy site for some made up coming of age tradition. The natives turn any deposit/construction into a holy site.
Jordan Smith
Just shoot the injuns for trespassing, and fine them for delaying the construction
Liam Rivera
That oil is being used to fuel a way of life that destroying nature, not working in accordance with it.
Knowing that, would you be happy with having it going beneath the graves of your ancestors that fought against this way of life?
Adrian Morris
Don't call them "natives", thats liberal buzzword talking literally noone on the reservation will be a full blooded injun
And yea of course, they always want to hurt whitey
Nathan Jones
> bronze deposit > he doesnt know shit about metallurgy > bronze is a fucking alloy
Ethan Rogers
the native tribes asked protesters to leave because they're causing too much damage to the environment
Carter Lopez
It's the storage and grid problem imo. The price is getting competitive but adding additional solar right now does little because it's so unreliable.
Energy storage is nonexistent effectively. So the problems aren't even about price but simply ensuring you have 24/7 energy supply.
Nuclear is far superior I have to admit in comparison right now. I think we could adapt the grid and other things to make solar better but it's complicated and requires tech breakthroughs.
Jace Fisher
Are they not kicking protesters off of the property the pipeline Company has a legal right to build on?
Seems legit.
Eli Ross
I honestly do not want keystone because I believe it just opens Canadian oil to a wider market therefore increasing the demand and making it more expensive for us.
Adrian Fisher
it's going UNDER all of that
Nolan Perez
Luckily my ancestors invented a system of writing so we can keep track of where they are buried and don't have to just make random guesses encompassing hundreds of square miles.
That said if crude oil bay was below my great grandfather's grave I think I'd be fine with him being interred somewhere else.
Owen Watson
Dumb ass native chug. Your people have never contributed anything to human civilization. You should be thankful the Europeans didn't finish genociding you.
Easton Bennett
? the oil has to get to a refinery idiot The only difference is that it travels by rail right now, instead of a cheaper pipeline
Adrian Lewis
Hey, pocahontas. Go get beat by your firewater drinking husband you mongolian-american halfbreed.
The land belongs to Americans now. your tribe lost and, through the benevolent grace of the anglo-saxon race, you were not wiped out like any other mongolian-american tribe would do. Back to your sweat lodge squanto.
Hunter Jones
hopefully these leftist retards get executed as a warning to all the other libtards that they're next.
William Hughes
hmmmmmm
why didn't they just do this?
Leo Barnes
wtf where did my pic go???
Gabriel Garcia
>why didn't they just do this? why did they make it all squiggly and not straight?
Isaac Adams
no why didn't they just follow the green path i added instead of the longer red one
Angel Jackson
Your ancestors are lapdogs to Jews and have been since they abandoned paganism. You are building a world where they are kings so you can be servants.
Isaac Evans
do you have any idea how fucking difficult it is to deal with land ownership bullshit?
Ethan Campbell
they'd have to pay off less people and im sure there is federal land on that side of the river they could have used
Ayden Reyes
just eminent domain that shit.
Dominic Peterson
It's because land that is by reservations is cheaper and "less useful" to the feds. They would rather go against the Natives than the fed because they are cowards who only care about money.
Robert Jones
down with capitalism, how dare they care about profit
Juan Brown
My Uncle is a paramedic at Standing Rock, the stories he tells about patching up Indians going at with machetes, knives, etc...
Jaxson Perry
your filth should have been wiped off the earth. We were merciful, your counterparts in South America were either wiped out or bred out of existence by the Spabish
Juan Robinson
Now you're just lashing out. The fate of the native American tribes was sealed thousands of years before any white man ever set foot here, hell it was sealed before the Jews even existed. The moment some asshole in ancient Sumeria invented a system of writing and crop rotation the tribal way of life was fucked, it was only a matter of time.
Jeremiah Sanders
profit at what cost?
Frankly, I feel the same way about whites. Look at how hateful all of you people are. I come to Sup Forums because I had the feeling that many of you were against corporate greed and Jewish global control but it's pretty apparent that whites are servants to the Jews and like an abused wife will do whatever they are told no matter how hard they are beat.
You are a race of cuckolds and the world knows it. That's why the Jews use you, you are easy to control. What happened to us is happening to you but you WANT it to happen.
Leo Parker
get drunk on firewater and go gamble at your casinos, stupid redskins. this hasn't been your "ancestral" land since white man moved in.
Jack Adams
Judaism is the tribal way of life. What you have adopted is a life of servitude.. The life of a subjugated tribe. We are in a similar position, but we refuse to kiss the ring and serve. We won't give up our tribal identity because that is what makes us strong. White tribalism is going to die in a matter of a few generations. Your tribe has already lost.
Dylan Davis
Impeachment draws ever closer fellas
Bentley Taylor
They had two years during which other groups presented complaints and had them addressed by the army corps We should just give them some shiny beads and be done with it
Jason Sullivan
>These are the ancesteral homelands of the Crow nation No they are not.
