Unlike most people on this board I have had an extremely diverse range of friends. I've had perfectly platonic friendships with females.

When girls hang with interesting people who are charismatic, they will attempt to discuss topics such as politics.

Left to their own devices, and I have seen this A LOT, they will without doubt always steer and arrive at clothing, boys, or pop culture.

I have tried to talk about politics with other women in social settings and no, they have no interest in talking about politics. So I guess some of us would like to but it's hard to find and connect with other females who are interested in having more than a shallow surface level conversation. I've been shunned and ostracized for speaking my mind and have lost many friends. But, I'm content with talking to people online instead. At least I can find people who share my interests.

When they get onto the subject of periods there is literally no stopping them, they will not chance the subject for the rest of the evening.
