This is why reddit will never be as powerful as Sup Forums. Any discussion whatsoever that does not fit the party's narrative is shut down completely.

Reddit will fall when something better gets discovered and spread. I think the userbase is ready for a Digg-like exodus, but where they'll go I don't know. They didn't move to Voat because it's a reskinned reddit with all the same inherent flaws of that website.

It would be wise for Sup Forumsacks to keep an eye out and become that new sites power-users and or moderators.

Make another account and make the same post but with Communism instead of fascism. Then post results

>Make another account and make the same post but with Communism instead of fascism. Then post results

>posting on reddit
You deserve everything you get and should fuck off back there.

It's something to do in class, trolling libtards and such, since I try to hide my power level irl

Voat is full, fuck off and don't even suggest it. They should go to gab.ai.

Sup Forums is just as bad as Reddit, this place will sperg out and and ban you for the most minor shit like saying reply to this post or your mother will die in her sleep

Your reading comprehension is shit.

you're a fucking faggot and you need to go back
>b-but I just use it to troll
I really doubt you only use it to troll libs

when will we start shaming redditors again for not lurking and complaining about their shit site on here?

>irrelevant shitposting that has nothing to do with any boards, at all
That's why we have Sup Forums, my loli hentai drawing friend.

reddit is fragile
pol and Sup Forums is a near perfect example of anti-fragility. We don't just resist assaults, but assaults make us stronger.

But they'll let Salon ride with an open discussion about pedophiles. They'll sanction Communist and Marxist groups. It's a tyranny of the masses given the nature of the voting system. Sup Forums is just based on who can make the best bait and get people butt mad enough to post

r/Politics bans you when pro-Obamacare people say its free healthcare and you tell them how Canada gives "free" healthcare.

Aaaah haaaah haa haaa

An idea so powerful you cannot even discuss it.

That in itself tell you that Fascism holds the answers.

>eu4
>fascism
isn't the entire aim of eu4 to genocide people you don't like?

>all these fucking redditors that have invaded Sup Forums

I wish you would leave
I wish you would all just leave
Why are you here

This is sad and we think we live in a free society
The gall to say you can't even defend an idea politely

>posting a the_donald meme on Sup Forums

why? :^)

Lol, why do they hate opposing views? At least here leftist scum can still give us a piece of their dirty minds and they are free to do so. Yet we are the bad guys.

WEW

Reddit will never change will it?

>reee someone wants to bring a civil discussion about how fascism can be good, LE downvote and shadow ban

We'll never leave

They've mainly given up on that here because most don't like having to construct their own arguments
I only see 1 post by this ID passive aggressive posting nowadays

>>posting a the_donald meme on Sup Forums
what

Reddit fags get the FUCK off this board.

When you come here you are bringing Reddit bullshit here with you. We don't want Muslims in our country because their culture clashes with ours - we don't want Reddit faggots on our board because your bullshit and shitty posting clashes with our posting.

FUCKING REDDITORS GET OF MY BOARD

REEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>Sup Forums is just as bad as Reddit

Show me the last time a moderator banned someone for speaking their mind? That's right faggot. Good thing we can't downvote or else you'd have negative 1000 and someone would give me a gold because you have an unpopular opinion.

I don't know how there are that many regular browsers
mods their are like those tower riflemen that look over the prisoners in the courtyard
you have to act chummy with the other prisoners
you get shot if you step over the safespace laws
sad place

That is so goddamn pathetic.

After nearly a decade of daily browsing Sup Forums, you really come to appreciate the little things like being able to just say a few words like "hitler did nothing wrong" just for the hell of it and nobody really cares.

Fuck reddit, and fuck anyone who uses reddit.

Reddit, like Sup Forums, has pros and cons

Reddit
>Cons
Every subreddit is an echo chamber that doesn't allow outside opinion
Only upboats get posts to the average user, this system rewards shitposting and "le funniest comments" to get to the top
>Pros
Due to being echo chambers, subs can't get destroyed by trolls and brigades
News reliably gets pushed to the front, although always with the bias of that sub

Sup Forums
>Cons
Trolls/Brigaders can easily take over a board by making posts and bumping them. CTR easily takes over Sup Forums for the hours they put their people on the clock (which abruptly ends when CTR is off the clock). For normies who can't see past this, they'll think common opinion is changing and will let this change their own opinions. Fucking normies give power to CTR
>Pros
Every idea gets equal rights/attention. Shitposting, outside ideas etc. This encourages anyone to post anything, and allows fringe/autism level findings a la Pizzagate et al. Biggest strength happens to be biggest weakness. As long as Sup Forumsacks are steadfast, Sup Forums will never die.

Sup Forums's power lies in the strengths of the individual. Reddit's power is in the strength of the community.

>don't trigger my believes

>It's a tyranny of the masses given the nature of the voting system.

No. When the masses show opposition to the narrative the superusers, and politically minded mods want to push, they absolutely shut shit down, either by deleting it, or changing the voting algorithims.

Case in point. A major terrorist attack, that was blocked in every major sub for half a day. Collectively throwing away 6 figures of upvotes. In the end the Donald Trump fanboy sub and the general ask me anything subs were the ones to take the lead on the story.

Ben Fischbein, Ben Fischbien, Ben Fischbien

>he actually believes that people shill on Sup Forums
room temperature IQ

I don't even have a reddit account but do you people understand what a subreddit is?

There are subreddits where you get banned for posting "fascist" things, there are subreddits where you get banned for being a "leftist." There are plenty of subreddits you can basically say whatever the fuck you want so long as it's not illegal, like certain boards on this site. And if you don't like any of them you can start your own.

It's not like he got banned by the reddit staff.

Generally I'm mildly negative towards reddit, but it's more similar to this site than most of you people are ever willing to admit. The way you talk about it, it's like it's some fucking boogeyman or something, like reddit fucked your girlfriend or something. Are you still pissed at them for ruining rage comics? (i.e. making them go all mainstream)

/RWSS/

Those subreddits get deleted by the admins with impunity. See: /r/altright

Yes I am aware, and I'm also aware that reddit advocates the suppression of free speech by allowing subreddits to choose what they want to hear. I can understand banning someone who comes off as an obvious troll or is just malicious, but in OPs post he was trying to get an argument of why fascism was bad. Instead he was banned.

Are you kidding? Have you looked at the catalog on almost any board at peak hours? Anti-trump posts everywhere. It's been proven, I've even seen 3 job postings in the past 3 months to shitpost online and one even specified Sup Forums and reddit. We've had leaks and multiple confessions.

Further evidence

Further evidence on reddit

Not to mention the recent shariablue leak, which also confirms shitposting online. We also know dumb ABC organizations have pulled shitpostings from here and added it to a "dossier" that "proved russian influence in the election". Remember that?

First of all, shame on you for defending that abhorrent website.

Secondly, the complete lack of free through and open speech that is extremely common as the predominant culture in the site - yes, even on right-wing subreddits, r/The_Donald being the prime example - shows that yes, even though like you said reddit's infrastructure itself isn't designed to suppress speech, that matters little because in the end you will have to deal with the site-wide culture which is as I said, very much for deleting your post if you are to say something deemed provocative.

Finally, although the culture of silencing I have described isn't necessarily part of reddit itself, another terrible aspect of it is entirely inherent -- upvotes. Even in the remote chance that moderators would choose not to use their powers to stop individual posters, that isn't necessary by design: users themselves will choose what subjects to promote and which to bury, effectively reinforcing the echo-chamber to points where posting a dissenting opinion is almost a worthless effort, since comments with enough downvotes are hidden and disappear into the board.

In closing: fuck you for defending that piece of shit website, get the fuck out and start posting there if you think it is so similar to Sup Forums.

the moon base that will save fascism

If you love it so much fuck off back there.

>making a shill accusation
Gee I wonder if shills run Reddit or if Reddit is run by faggots.

FUCKING HELL HOW IS THIS Sup Forums RELATED STOP SPAMMING THIS BOARD WITH POINTLESS THREADS
SAGE

Something tells me that if I look into why that was deleted I'm going to find that they did something that actually violated reddit's (generally reasonable) TOS, and not that they just committed the unspeakably horrible crime of being right-wing on reddit. There's more than a handful of right-wing, pro-Trump subreddits where most of y'all would fit right in that are operating quite smoothly with no interference from the staff.

Letting people set up what are essentially personal message boards and giving them permission to moderate them (or refrain from moderating them) according to whatever rules they choose doesn't really seem to be a pro-censorship policy to me, not even tacitly so.

But whatever. I'm not going to spend half an hour defending reddit -- like I said, I don't even particularly LIKE reddit. I just think it's stupid how so many of you people have this weird little hate fetish for a fucking website, especially when, in terms both of content and quality of discussions, it's really not that different from here.

Hell, if anything the culture on here (Sup Forums specifically) is more stifling than most subreddits I've seen, but I don't think anybody's expecting Sup Forums to be a bastion of free and nuanced discussion anymore.

I'm 100% sure CTR is in this thread

The_Donald is not "the prime example" of an echo chamber. In fact, every other subreddit makes that claim when they are all anti-trump echo chambers. r/politics is the ultimate echo chamber. If they were both equal in their bullshit, at least T_D admits to being pro-trump while r/politics still thinks it's 100% legitimately unbiased most wholesome opinions of all time. Then you have r/pics, r/trumpspam, etc which are all 100% clones rendered from r/politics while T_D is contained to one board.

For all of you who don't go to reddit, T_D is reddit's version of Sup Forums just without shills and with more upboats

This. Please

People like you are what's wrong with Sup Forums

In a thread about why Sup Forums is so much better because you can say what you want, because there's 'no party line' to toe
'FUCK YOUR STUPID OPINION LEAVE REEEEEEEEEEEE'

What if I told you your comment can get downvoted into non existance no matter what board you're on?

Go back to plebbit.

>people like you are what's wrong with Sup Forums
I was here before Sup Forums was you fucking newfag.

When it comes to reddit the admins/mods don't enforce rules on liberal subs, but they do on the right subs. For example, they banned r/altright for shit r/politics does almost every day. There's open talk on anti-trump boards of doxxing, evading bans, and other ways they break reddits rules. They then make a smurf account on reddit and try to incite violence and other rule breaking posts (that they themselves openly commit and are reported for) in order to get T_D banned from reddit.

Not to mention the 5 or 6 times Reddit completely changed its algorithms and policies just to keep pro-trump and T_D posts from the front page (and did I forget how they often edit these posts to 0 to get them off the front page)

T_D is a bastion of pro-trump and pro-US news in the land of anti-trump and anti-US opinions. Anyone on Sup Forums that hates T_D is a fucking shill, end of story.

>r/The_Donald rules
>ii. No Trolling/Concern Trolling
>iii. No Racism/Anti-Semitism
>vi. This is a forum for supporters of Trump ONLY

YES YOU FAGGOT, GUESS IT'S JUST LIKE Sup Forums HUH? GUESS I MUST BE A CTR SHILL ALL ALONG.

Fuck off you redditor scum, when will you realize not only that you don't belong here but that we also hate your shitty rhetoric and opinions?

someone knows too much about this "reddit" thing

go back faggot

>For all of you who don't go to reddit, T_D is reddit's version of Sup Forums just without shills and with more upboats
fuck off stupid kike

>First of all, shame on you for defending that abhorrent website.
See? This is the shit I'm talking about.

IT'S A FUCKING WEBSITE. It is a fucking content aggregator and message board. It's fine. There's a lot of trash on there. Some stuff that's worth reading. Sort of like here.

Get a grip, people, Christ.

That's the thing, so long as we're talking about websites' "cultures" -- I can't help but wonder, are you people really under the impression that this board is any better for discussion? Because it is not. People may not be banned by the board staff for posting unpopular opinions but they'll certainly get straight-up ignored or, if they're really lucky, shitposted into oblivion. In practice it amounts to the same thing.

Yeah, that's pretty much all they do here. They don't want actual discussion because they know they're wrong.

50% of Sup Forums is redditpeople
30% is normalfags
20% is anons
and
the leaf is right in saying that frogposters are cancer, i've never saved a frog onto my hdd and i never will, i will admit i saved one wojak a summer's eve several years ago

>The_Donald is not "the prime example" of an echo chamber.
They literally ban everyone who isn't a Trump supporter you fucking cancerous faggot.

How convenient of you to reply to just the very first sentence of my post, when I go out of my way to criticize the inherent flaws in reddit's design.

Except even the largest sub-reddit, r/the_donald, is repeatedly attacked and censored by the reddit staff.

I don't know anything about r/altright, but the only reason TD isn't gone is because they haven't found a good enough excuse or collaborated a big enough lie.

Lmao Fuck reddit. It's a Jewish run somewhat the Fuck do you expect. They get bribes by jews to censure all sorts of shit under the guise of not hurting feefees

The rules keep shitposters from r/politics from just turning T_D into another version of r/politics (Which is what they did in literally every single other sub minus some porn ones, no joke)

They are not the prime example of an echo chamber, as I said. I regularly see Sup Forums level autism get upboated to the front. And, like I said, it doesn't get as many outside ideas and opinions like Sup Forums does. Look at my other posts. You're simply uninformed or a troll

>Sup Forums is better because it allows outside opinions
>fuck off with your stupid outside opinion

TD is the result of all this banning. All the containments failed and now they're superconcentrated and hiding behind his name

it's great, because they cant ban the POTUS

I think his point is that they are pretty upfront about it. They don't allow any opinions or discussion that would reflect negatively on Trump, and it's generally just a hype board.

In contrast, r/politics is apparently supposed to be discussion of political views and happenings. You're not allowed to post anything but Trump hate and fake news. They are misleading in their bias.

no one care about what happened to you on reddit nigger go start a blog or something

What's the diff between a genuine will vs a hope to open. Is Reddit really such censorious trash?

And Sup Forums has such quality discussions right? I come here for memes, funny pictures and pure autistic hate. Reddit isn't much better. There's some subs that has some decent shit going on but if you want a real discussion you have to find a real person because people are tired of wading through shit of random kids on the internet thinking they can discuss something and it turns into a waste of time. Why would I discuss something with a mentally challenged frogworshipper when there's other options?

Eventually it'll go too, I have no doubt about it. That, or reddit will go. There will be a reason, Sup Forums will sperg about it, but without a place to congregate it'll go away.

The reddit admins/CTR/Soros will get a hold of moderator accounts that people trust and they will 'start it clean guise trust us'.

Reddit in general isn't good for discussion since it's formatted to promote the most popular idea and hide the rest, this isn't just an issue in politics you can see it in whatever topic they try to discuss over there. The top comments on reddit are rarely any good, they're usually Simpsons references or attempts at witty quips rather than anything substantial about the topic.

>>Sup Forums is better because it allows outside opinions
>>fuck off with your stupid outside opinion

You are a terminally stupid motherfucker, be careful not to choke on your own saliva.

If me or other posters tell you to "fuck off", guess what? That matters for jackshit, because both yours and our posts still have the same prominence and are very much visible for everyone browsing.

In reddit, you don't even have to bother replying; a single click and you can have droves of users who will make sure dissenting opinions are moved to the bottom of the content, and eventually hidden and forgotten.

Fuck off with your stupid opinions.

/u/Meneth, a mod at some of the Paradox subreddits, was a mod at GamerGhazi at one point

So yeah

Please tell me this is real. If so, fuck yeah

Woah...so this is the power...of autism

And yet here you are, sharing your self-righteous opinion like it's somehow superior to everyone's.

You will never realize how retarded that is and how retarded you are, sadly.

it's so obvious that you're from reddit by the way you write

fuck off

What does r/politics do if you post anything outside of their echo chamber? Or any pro-trump or pro-US news?
Or r/trumpspam
Or r/news
Or r/pics
Or r/all

LUMP ETFO

Here's a good comparison for you

Sup Forums lets you say whatever the fuck you want, otherwise freedom of speech.

Reddit bans and deletes anything even remotely against their views, censoring and taking away freedom of speech.

By Reddit's own acts they show they are more fascist than Sup Forums.

Why would I respond to the rest? I'm not interested in defending the upvote system, or even the site's culture (except by noting that Sup Forums & other boards on Sup Forums can be just as stifling, which isn't really a defense). Yet again, I don't even particularly like the website; I'd say 3/4 of the time I read a discussion on there I come away thinking "well, that was a waste of time." You can criticize the website all you want. Just keep some fucking perspective already.

It is also pretty fucking stupid how certain opinions on here are associated with breddit for some reason. I have seen people post something in one thread, get told "fuck off back to breddit," then a day later, see somebody else post the opposite opinion in another thread -- "fuck off back to breddit." It just means "I disagree and can't be assed to write why," at this point. Frothing breddit hate is about 5x as obnoxious as the actual site at this point.

Tacked a 'b' in front of all instances of [the website's name] in that paragraph because otherwise Sup Forums thought my post was spam.

That just pisses me off that they think reddit is more intelligent - when their shilling tactics basically boil down to concern trolling, promoting echo chambers and downvoting. Meanwhile CTR can't even get their head around memes - all they can do is meagerly name call and shitpost thinking they're somehow affecting the views held here? Pathetic.

You can't be banned and have your comment down voted into nothingness on Sup Forums. You can refute any opinion with your own and a debate if someone is so inclined to take your bait.

You can call people with other opinions niggers and tell them to get the fuck out and not have to worry about losing societal brownie points.

So gtfo you football headed nigger.

Sneaky, but I like it.

Yeah, not like downvotes actually hide comments or push them so far down you'll never see them regardless of moderator intervention or anything like that haha

dude

Yeah I don't know what that means.

I don't have a reddit account (unless I registered one years ago and forgot about it, who knows). I've probably spent an hour on here for every five minutes I've spent browsing on there. Believe me or disbelieve me, it's up to you, it's not like I have any way of proving it.

this

Nobody is saying Sup Forums is perfect - I myself agree with you 100% on the reflexive and nearly schizophrenic method of dialectics a lot of the posters here use, where they will accuse you of belonging to some sort of shadow organization in order to discredit your argument (JIDF, SRS, CTR, CREW, etc) - there's lots of things that need to be worked on and culture that needs to be improved.

That said, I still prefer this shithole a thousand times more than reddit.

Voat kinda sucks anyway. I might as well be here.

This community was banned a few days ago because we were telling the truth about the Jews. It had nearly 17,000 members and was growing extremely fast.

www.reddit.com/r/altright/

>not be unacceptable
Even their justification is pure retardation

Are you even capable of performing basic text reading and interpretation you massive retard?

Read my posts again - very carefully and not gagging on cocks this time - and you'll see just who you were replying to.

It means you write like a self righteous douchebag.

I guess you're just autistic or have asbergers or something

thanks for the gold kind stranger

Reddit is so cringeworthy. I only scroll thru it quick at work if I'm bored.

More importantly, how the fuck did this faggot dick sucking site reddit got so popular to being no. 23 worldwide and no. 7 in US, if i recall up until 2008-2009 Sup Forums was way more known than that garbage pile and then they drank jew semen or what? cause they started to pop out everywhere and everybody was mentioning it

Who the hell pays "upwards of 50% income tax" in Canada? This is a gross exaggeration.

>That said, I still prefer this shithole a thousand times more than reddit.
(I do too)

I'm sorry Sweden.
