nothing big. Rebels in idlib still going apeshit at each other, small gains by SAA in DeZ, turks and SAA getting closer to al bab. Yesterday the turks started a new assault on al bab and now hold some positions at the edge of the town.
Jace White
Instead of killing the ISIS-fanboys in Hama, AAS claims they "carried out an overnight Inghimasi attack on pro-Government forces near Atshan", "killing several and grabbing their weapons".
Really gets the noggin joggin...?
Justin Miller
When the Jihadists are purged the SDF will turn those weapons on the SAA, whilst the Russians will be powerless to do anything

Husain Omar, a member of the Kurdish Yekiti Party, from Hasaka, arrested by Kurdish self-management forces in Ma'bada in Hasaka >twitter.com/snhr/status/829960109426147329
Why would the SDF turn them over? To the SAA of all people? Besides, if the war ends with a negotiated settlement and a federal Rojava the regional government will need an armed force.
Why would the Russians object to the SDF handing over their gear anyway, that seems like a too-good-to-be-true scenario for them; total SAA control.

Blame the US Also the Jordanian buffer zone is quite a big thing if true. More influance in the region for Russia and a rebel stronghold of Dara'a might be finally managable.

Yeeeeaaaahhh... Let's be honest here, this isn't a very big feat.

What are this vehicles? Look familiar, but can't recognize it.
>Jordan wants to follow Turkey’s example and conduct its own military operation in south Syria to rout the ISIS-affiliated Jaysh Khalid bin Walid, according to a leading pan-Arab daily.
>Al-Hayat newspaper reported Thursday that Jordan seeks to coordinate the campaign in the Yarmouk river basin with Russia, which Amman has developed stronger bilateral ties on regional issues in the past year.
>“Jordan wants to copy the example of Operation Euphrates Shield by supporting the Free Syrian Army’s Southern Front to force out the Jaysh Khalid bin Walid,” sources told the newspaper.
>The unnamed sources added that the rebels would enter Syria from the Nassib border crossing, from where they would move toward Jaysh Khalid bin Walid positions, a rearguard action akin to the Turkish-backed rebels’ entry behind ISIS lines in Jarabulus last year.
>“Amman seeks an understanding with Moscow, which will coordinate with Damascus to support this operation to create a buffer zone,” the sources explained.
>Al-Hayat’s report comes a week after Jordan conducted an airstrike against Jaysh Khalid bin Walid, which was formed in June 2016 following a reorganization of jihadist groups in the area, including the Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade
>The Southern Front coalition of FSA factions has not engaged in major offensives since the summer of 2015, when it failed it to seize the Daraa provincial capital.
>Since then, a multitude of reports indicate that the Western-supervised Military Operation Council (MOC) overseeing the Southern Front from Amman has been pushing the rebels to concentrate their operations against the ISIS-affiliated jihadists in Daraa.
VERY NICE

Defeating them in Kurdish populated mountain areas is possible, but taking over the country seems a little out there.

has the us policy changed yet with trump in ?
in a briefing it sounded like us was talking more with the russians, and they were intent on rolling up isis
Gavin Martin
Let`s be honest here, Kurds are not much better then arabs. They got higher morale and overall organization/determination and can achieve some success with help of US airstrikes, but beating SAA after all other sides in this war have been BTFO? Wishful thinking.
Josiah Flores
A kurdish outhouse.

Y'know, this kinda echoes those meme safety zone plans from a few weeks back.
Eli King
>talking more with the russians, and they were intent on rolling up isis I suspect that is the case.
Elijah Taylor
It'll be done under Russia this time, probably followed by a reconcilation agreement. Seems like a really good development imo.
Caleb Butler
Come on, the SAA is trash tier. The kurds too, but at least they are motivated. That alone would win them the fight.
Thomas Davis
Stfu and go prepare tomorrow's English lesson faggot
Not so nice since that means they will also have a stake in determining political look of post war Syria.

>paint your new "tank" with SUPER SEKRIT CAMOUFLAGE >nobody in the desert has ever seen grass before, so they are physically incapable of comprehending the sight of this grass-camo'd killing machine >this renders the vehicle, for all intents and purposes, INVISIBLE >after decades of research into this fool-proof disguise, training programs have improved to the point that Syrian soldiers can be taught to see grass in as little as 4 months >the learned crew (of 2) then uses its new stealth capability to travel behind enemy lines and carry out acts of sabotage, recon, or outright attack (though the crew has to exit the vehicle if they want to do that)
Parker Powell
I'm not sure about this. We'll see what happens with Euphrates Shield jihadis after they expell IS. My guess is they'll be offered amnesty or a green bus to Idleb. In the case of amnesty muhammed will say "the revolution was a mistake" while he screws a lighbulb because before the war he was an electrician. If they go to Idleb instead - they'll be dealt with. I don't think they'll have anything to do with post-war political process.
Xavier Gutierrez
Heard rumors that Al-Bab fell to the Turks yesterday. It´s not true, r-right?

I´m hyped for the TV series. Too bad they will be made by Hollywood shills and it will all just be a sobstory about how the noble freedom fighters of Syria failed their valiant effort to depose the child-killing barrel bomb-dropping bloodthirsty murderous tyrant Assad

kurds have been supplied and trained by the USA since the first gulf war. When the war in Syria ends, Kurdish land will be full of well armed and battle hardened hotheads, who will want to support their Kurdish comrades in neighbouring countries. My bet is on Kurds starting hell in Turkey after this war is done. Whatever they gonna do, it wont be peaceful

Al Bab is a big town, I'm sure they're printed locally.
Besides, they'll only need to amend it to include fuhrer TFSA gains so it doesn't matter that much.
