So Trump says he'll bring back jobs, but with robotic revolution currently taking form, what jobs will be left?

So Trump says he'll bring back jobs, but with robotic revolution currently taking form, what jobs will be left?

I say this as a Trump supporter and retail employee who is seeing the company already replacing cashiers with self checkouts and accounting with a money sorting machine..

Automation is overrated desu.

Think of it this way, It will take over retail, no problem, because the customer does all the manual labour for the machine, as the job is so simple.

Fastfood and electronic factories are doing the same though. Chinese companies are reporting record production and profits.

I'm sure we'll all bit sitting on floating chairs while sexy robots bring us drinks anytime now.

Anytime now...

cost savings lowering overhead will create new jobs we havn't thought of yet.

chimney sweeps
slaves
etc...

I'll create some self-replicating rape bots, so there's a new threat that will create some jobs

what jobs, this isn't like the industrial revolution, not enough new jobs are going to be generated.

>what jobs will be left?
Technician, engineering, and programming jobs. Someone needs to build and maintain those robots.

Thats just a small fraction of the jobs that are being replaced though. Millions of jobless americans remain.

Also another situation is with the mass layoffs in the oilfield these past few years these uneducated workers no longer have retail or fastfood jobs available to them anymore.

border patrol, deportation police, enhanced interrogation specialists,

I was a Trump supporter from the beginning but nuclear codes we can't let him get seriously and now I am the guided projectile.

>he'll bring back jobs

he only said that so that rural and suburban retards would have something to respond with whenever someone would ask them why they supported him, because they can't just say "cuz we hate niggers and faggots"

A question for you, friend.

What do you think the wealthy are more likely to do when poor people become useless.

A) Write them large checks from their own bank accounts to help support the poor having a decent standard of living
B) Gas them

Based on what happens to people who can't find work today, I'll give you a hint.

You really don't want full automation to happen in your lifetime...

He is secretly generating jobs for all the morons who went gender studies and the like by having Soros employ them to protest. The man is playing 5-d chess

The government will drain them with taxes until they leave I guess, but where they would go idk, automation is happening in all first world countries.

>A) Write them large checks from their own bank accounts to help support the poor having a decent standard of living
>B) Gas them
The elites are doing both. Population control is already happening.

- The reason why marriage is so terrible with its alimony and divorce laws is to scare people away from marriage and to reduce the population.

- Importation of blacks and browns is importing people reliant on the state who are content with a lower quality of living.

- This meme of "college education = job" is indebting our youth. Making them unable to make children.

- There is a possibility of another large scale war. The Federal Reserve won't let the petrodollar die without a fight. The petrodollar is backed not by gold or silver, but violence and war.

"Bring back jobs," means employing white men as deportation squads and putting white women back in the home with their children where they belong. It's a fantastic idea.

That's 200 million people user. Still not enough jobs.

Put them all in the military.

...

Clearly Outer Heaven is the only solution I guess.

Automation will not destroy employment, it will enhance it.

Some jobs will be lost, but others will be created.

And in the meantime, the robots (and automation in general) will drop the costs of each product while expanding the total number of products that are available.

Take, for example, the automobile.

When the automobile first took off, it put the buggy makers out of business (at least those who didn't convert to making auto bodies).

It also put the buggy whip makers out of business, and the people who sold horse feed, and the people who sold horses, and the blacksmiths who shoe the horses, and the men who worked sweeping the horse shit off the streets.

But as a result of the car, the masses had access to transportation, they could travel longer distances, and they could move to suburbs.

So, even though the automobile was short term bad for several industries, it was a net gain over time.

It's the same thing with automation. Labor, freed up from the drudgery of repeatative tasks, will now be able to branch out to new industries.

No it won't WHAT JOBS, this isn't the industrial revolution. The only jobs being creates is few it positions. There aren't enough jobs being created, see China.
