1) We're not far right. Those are the ancaps. We're third position. 2) It's not just about "making the sale", it's about not getting rejected from the get go based on decades of propaganda. People are unironically taught that being a natsoc means you want to kill everyone who isn't blonde with blue eyes, I was taught that myself in high school and I've seen Sup Forumslacks from many countries including the US say the same. 3) Even the NSDAP used "hooks" to get people such as Strasserism, which they then purged after power was seized and it served no purpose anymore. Purging it so early was a mistake in my opinion though, as it served as a bridge with the USSR and could have been used to stagger the beginning of the conflict with them.
