Mexico is brown people but they are actually all very good people from my experience. It's a small group that is ruining it for them all and their reputation. But the average Mexican is much poorer then they should be and the infrastructure is terrible. They have many problems and the government is basically the cause.

But, for example I'll say a 70% of the territory is occupied by "Maras" and they won't hesitate to kill somebody who doesn't live there. I've been there several times. There are a lot of white Costa Ricans, and crime there is relatively low, and in comparison to it's neighbors they may as well be on different continents. in high school i went on a month long trip to costa rica and 2 of the weeks i lived in a native costa rican familia household. 2 parents 1 son 1 daughter. it was awesome. his father was the owner of the local bakery and flipped houses. they had a maid who did everything and lived a super chill life. have thought about trying to move there.
