Would we have guns attached tot the cameras?
Why no just put spikes on top of the wall?
What about signs that say "no crossing?"
...
Do u know how hard it would be to do this (VERY)
>tremor sensors
truly the mexican mafia has met its match
birds
they will use deep reinforced foundations
If you move slowly enough, motion detection doesn't work.
Have a camera surveying a large area of ground in front of the wall. You would have to dig a huge tunnel and even then you could just check to make sure nobody had dug through. US border patrol is a thing.
add guns to the camera and make an online game out of it. People can buy the monthly subscription and get access to one camera. That way you get the "AI" for free, you make a lot of people happy playing the game and all money made of it goes to the building new walls
Why is that nigger raping our beautiful wall???
what if the illegals arrive on tourist visas and just never leave
you can track down people with tourist visas
>What is ICE, Alex?
Visas are issued by the government. All they'd have to do is check visa holders to make sure they went back to their original country.
>Why not do it like this?
Im pretty sure that if you use a large bore pipe to top the wall, it will allow no hand or foot holds....Basically once you get over the top tangent point, you would slide right over...and fall....presumably to your death or into the canal full of gators.
It doesn't at all need to be motion detecting.
It's pretty pointless putting cameras on the walls in this fashion anyway, but still. It's an application of computer vision rather than simple motion detection.
>the canal full of gators.
How the fuck did the libshits miss this part of the EO? Their obliviousness amazes me.
>fisheye lense
the point was trying to make is that lapsed green cards is far and away the #1 method for illegal immigrants to get into this, and most, countries.
what
are apparently unaware of is the legal requirements for warrants to be issued on lapsed green card holders before they can be arrested, and an arrest does not gaurentee deportation if they were once a legal resident alien. typically you'll be given a chance to renew, which you can bullshit forever and basically never actually do, even if you end up arrested for it.
not to mention ICE does not directly enforce legal resident aliens.
Welcome to legal fuckery 101.
So you're saying we should just take the out behind the woodshed, "Ol' Yeller" style?
We've already developed very effective (and expensive) tunnel detection tech for Israel.
Why do you want to turn the wall into Metal Bean Solid?
Yeah, in norwegian prisons they have a big "oil pipeline" on the top of the walls. I've seen it when walking passed a prison.
Why waste money on an ugly faulty wall (ladders, tunnels, etc.) when you can just build a minefield? No one's building a tunnel under a minefield.
yeah, pretty much.
40% come on visas that expire.
Look, the point that people never seem to understand is that just because something wont work completely doesnt mean it isnt worth doing for what it does. The wall will objectively make the border more secure.
>metal bean solid
Mexicans don;t have boxes silly
Same as the anti-rape wrist bands?
Great so all you would need is about 100,000 cameras.
Cameras don't do shit believe me, unless they jump off in an orderly line and you can make them go back.
Better to have armed guards there to shoot invaders.
. . . no, 40% enter border control through airports, and overstay on those visas.
Over 60% of illegal immigrants in the past few years have come on expired visas.
If you;re going to pull your statistics from fox news you should really learn how to interpret them.
Im not disputing in making the border more secure, but it misses the largest swath of the issue.
You would have to use lots of cameras to cover the border. Also, the camera's software would have to do periodic checks in order to be able to detect changes. But at which rate ? Too scarce, and it wouldn't be effective. Too frequent, and it would take a big bandwidth to process. I could be wrong, I'm just guessing here.
1 camera will cost you $20 000, because it needs its own source of power and also needs a satellite connection
If you need one of those every 50 meters, that's 20 cameras per kilometer
The US-Mexico border is about 3 000 km long, so that's 1,2 billion dollars just in cameras
Not to mention the cost of putting all those cameras in place
Not to mention someone can just destroy or shoot the camera, so you'd need guards to protect the cameras, not to mention all the helicopters and boats you will need to defend the water because you can't build a wall on the surface of the sea
Not to mention that now you don't have illegal Mexicans to harvest your food because you just went bankrupt on building a wall, so you'll also be starving to death, and that's not even a question of money because no matter how much money you have you'll likely never get white master race Aryan Europeans to work on farms
Anyway, enjoy your AIDS
Check'd
Do this and I'm investing in balloons and zeplins
Wall is mainly symbolic. The REAL wall is Jeff Session, the justice department, homeland security and ICE

>The US-Mexico border is about 3 000 km long, so that's 1,2 billion dollars just in cameras
It's already costing 50 billion dollars according to the left, what's another 1,2?
x-ray cameras
>missile defense shields
>really easy to spot
Skynet, please leave.
Even better, just irradiate a death zone around the wall with your atomic waste.
You could spot illegal aliens with a Geiger counter or by their death.
>Not a terrible idea
some good Germans left
>Barbed wire
i was under the impression it was a cartel
It lacks the human touch.
I think there just should be hunting licenses issued for illegals.
Helps the state budget, helps the demographic problem, brings in tourists.
