So, this article by The Atlantic explains that if liberals were to reframe immigration issues to focus on conservative talking points such as the American dream or patriotism, then they could convince conservatives much easier.
I am baffled that it took them actual RESEARCH to realise that persuasion =/= talking down to anyone who disagrees with me.
What do you think?
Thomas Williams
>live the american dream >by fucking up the local populace yeah no >its what brought our grand parents and great grandparents here fuck off m8
Caleb Long
>trying to teach liberals to rationally argue >liberals rational
That isn't going to work. The conservative lives in rationality 24/7, asking a leopard to change it's spots and argue "rationally" is pretty naive.
what you'll get is someone starting a quasi rational argument, but the moment he gets refuted he'll say "you're a racist!" and we're back to square one.
Libshits don't know how to argue. they just know how to scream incomprehensibly stupid slogans and arguments that can be boiled down to, "check your privileged you CIS Nazi racist whore!"

>American dream I would kill myself if I had to live such a meaningless existence. I don't give a shit about bring back the 60's America, I want to make something better.

What kills me about immigration to the US is that people point out the Statue of Liberty and suggest that our open door policy was due to altruism instead of importing cheap workers to combat organized labor.
I thought all liberals were supposed to read Zinn's A Peoples History of the US

>American dream >Patriotism Fucking basic bitch conservatives are disgusting
Luke Wilson
This, they learned their politics from Stephen Colbert and they seriously think that acting snarky and smug looks as good irl as it does on a highly controlled and edited television show.

we are 100% done talking. Libs days are numbered. They can eat shit.
