SNL has been stagnating for years, NO ONE had a reason to watch it. Now liberals have a reason to watch it.

It's also advertised on every TV site and every news site, something which didn't happen to SNL previously.

I was one of the "moderate" bashers of the awful Ghostbusters 2016.
I was also a supporter of Trump and voted for him.
I found this skit excellent, fast moving and sharp, and worthy of the bast of the old SNL.
I also saw a grain of truth in many of the "outrageous" barbs the Spicer character was hurling at the press. SNL probably didn't want to encourage that. Don't forget the MSM is almost as negatively viewed as Trump himself.
