Applied to Baylor a couple of weeks ago, pretty high on my list. Is it redpilled? Any fellow Sup Forums people go there? Should I go if I'm not Baptist?

You must be 18 or older to post on this board.
If you're 18 and only just applying to universities, be ashamed.
Don't waste your money. If you have to go to school in Texas go to A&M, they are fanatical and will give you hiring preference if they are alumni.
>Senior Year
>Turned 18 in November
>This is somehow not normal
How's autism treating you bud?
>waiting until your second semester of senior year to apply to universities
>applying to Baylor instead of Texas A&M like said
Just go to A&M, unless there is some bizarre specific major that you want to do. Like said. Don't waste your money. If you have to have a Baylor degree, transfer as a Junior and save some cash. I'm a Texasfag here, and the only person from my graduating class that went to Baylor was some weird chick that no one talked to. The rest of us went to UT, A&M, community college, or oil changing school.
Also, I'm from a pretty affluent suburb of a major city here, so don't think it's a country bumpkin high school in Abilene or something I'm talking about.
>graduating at 18
Are you a literal retard?
All universities are bluepilled. Do your associates at community college then transfer to a university that isn't going to put you in debt until you're 55.
Even better, get an entry level job in the field your studying first, go to college part time if need be, then you can actually get a real job when you graduate.
their football players are a buncha fuckers
So you are either
>a newfag
or
>broke the rules
Either way GTFO

How do I get a job at Lockheed Martin with out a degree pls?
I got into Baylor. Doing pre-business, planning on going into finance. Waiting on TAMU and UT. Baylor is redpilled, beautiful campus, Waco is shit.
Met a few other Sup Forums Texas guys too. Baylor is way too fucking expensive. If I go, I'm transferring after a year to UT.
I think I might have the job for you.
I did community college for two years, UTSA for one, then transferred to UT for my senior year. Got the UT degree with minimal cost.
that looks fucking insane bro
sup
Is that normal in Texas?
In North Carolina I had applied to all of my schools by the end of October before I turned 18. Most schools have priority deadlines and benefits to people who apply early (for example, Duke has a much higher acceptance rate for students who do an early commitment there).
OP, you fucked up unless this is normal in Texas.
Baylor is also a pretty bad private school all things considered, you could do better.
It's kind of a meme college, wouldn't you agree?
It does live up to its name, so many chinks.
In Texas we have the 10% rule. You are automatically accepted to any state school if you are in the top 10% of your class. Works great if you are from the inner city and from a shit school. Sucks if you are from Southlake, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, etc.
What is really fucked up about Texas is that the inner city 'top 10%' flunk out after Freshman year, so there is plenty of room for incoming sophomores.
I'll give you an example. I had a 3.6 graduating from high school, but I went to a rich kid school in a suburb without broken homes. That put me at about the 55th percentile in my class. I shit you not. I didn't get in to any school but A&M, and I chose not to go there because I'm not a kicker (is that what you guys call the redneck truck drivers these days?). I just hit community college and got in no problem at all after all the Jamiroquais flunked out. Saved me some cash.
>Be a good Southern Baptist father
>Want your daughter to avoid degenerate college lifestyle
>Send her to a Private Religious College
>College is full of parties, drugs, and football
>Girls are sluts for the nigger infested football team
>Those who won't willingly fuck the niggers get raped by them
>College covers up the rapes for years
>Paying 50k a year for your daughter to end up as a typical college slut anyway
>Paying 50k for a shit school that doesn't care about education
>Paying 50k to subsidize a full ride for a nigger to rape your daughter
>Paying 50k to a school who cares more about their football program than students getting raped
If consistently being in the top 20 for best universities in the nation makes it a meme college, then sure
Baylor is very expensive, only reason you should go is if you're on a full ride
Please don't tell me you're quoting US News & World Report.
Actually, Rice is pretty good. I have a friend who is a PHD that has done some work with Rice. Pretty nice Uni from what I know. It didn't fit with any of my life goals so I didn't give it two thoughts, personally.
Houstonbro here, it's full of chinks and a hotbed for liberals.
Dont do Baylor. The stigma there is awful because of the rape shit, and the kids are all trust fund frat boys who just party all the fucking time. I have several friends who to Baylor and all but like two fucking hate it.
Texas is fine for the education, but Austin is liberal cancer.
I'll try to be unbiased since I'm an Aggie, but A&M is a great choice. Its not the hyper conservative place its made out to be, but the people are nice and honest, and you wont have to deal with a whole lot of PC bullshit. The shit that does come up is condemned across campus. Otherwise, its very everyman.
Top 20 in the U.S.?
More like barely top 100 in the world. We globalization now.
This.
The Baylor football coach literally recruited players by asking them if they like white women.
>Baylor Football
kek
Wasn't citing any one source in particular, since just one "top unis in the US" list alone should be taken with a grain of salt regardless of the source. However, when I can't find a single list that places it lower than 40, you know it's a pretty damn good school.
Fair enough. Though to be fair some asians are pretty based. Also, liberals tend to avoid the STEM degrees, so I rarely if ever have to deal with their bullshit.
Yeah I go to an sec school and there's a dude on my floor from Austin who was telling me about that. Pretty dumb rule
Austinfag that went to University of Washington for college. I just love liberal tears
senior ex-gf is clear example, she went to baylor and did exactly this.
she became radfem after the rape scandal, upset she was "predatorily taken advantage of" by the football team she willingly fucked but never had the balls to file any former complaint bc it didn't happen.
I heard Baylor has their very own gas chambers for Jews, gypsies, and homosexual so I'd say they're pretty dog gone red pilled.
“Do you like white women?” one Baylor assistant allegedly asked a recruit, according to the complaint. “Because we have a lot of them at Baylor, and they love football players.”
Sup fellow Austinfag. McCombs alumni here. Hook 'em and gas the libshits.
No, don't go, unless you're a fucking normie.
have fun eating shit for mexicans
The Rice Circle should have changed the world. Hermeneutic toolbox that presaged the meme wars.
I graduated from Baylor in 2013. The greek scene wasn't huge when I went there and all the parties were limited to one street, was fun though. It's like any other college in the sense of young hot people everywhere but just add a lot of kids with too much money from Daddy for the most part.
I went with a scholarship that paid for about 1/3, my parents paid the minimum while I went and I've knocked down 38k of debt to a little under 25k in about 3 years.
I got a degree in biology and the new science building is absolutely beautiful. Business is a great degree to focus on there as Baylor graduates tend to favor their own over others since it is still a small school.
I enjoyed my time there but didn't like how often Daddy's bank account seemed to play into the social life of things. There are a lot of good old fashion and well raised kids there and for the most part when I went, you didn't tell anyone if you were gay. If you did ultimately no one cared, but get them drunk enough and they'll have something to say about it.
There was a (small) event one day between the student work out gym and the science building where some off campus organization was protesting how it's against Baylor code of conduct to be a homosexual and do homothings. There was a campus wide e-mail that went out that said ignore them, someone ended up flipping their little table and no one cared.
There is something called a Bear trail which is a pleasant trail that takes you around and through the campus. You always see beautiful girls there running anytime of day. I graduated as it was expanding, I haven't been to the new football stadium but the few times I've driven by it looks fantastic. I really should go back to just walk my old route again and see what has changed.
I really love my school. Even though there are tons of liberals, I learn so much as a stem fag and my job prospects are great. Keep working hard everyone!
>eating shit for mexicans
What did xer mean by this?
>all these kids still applying to schools here
This. Although I'd argue their science program is becoming pretty liberal last time I was there. There is apparently a big gay community there, not sure why. Overall not that bad. There's a thing called the Baylor bubble, where it's pretty good around the university, but outside of it is pretty run down. Good church communities, but be weary of some of them.
What a piece of garbage those people are. Glad I rarely went to their games to support them. I'm sure that hurt the university, stupid assholes.
At UT right now, CNS student
Can't even get one with a degree, fml
Can't wait to see Briles get his ass beaten in prison
It was well known secret that the football players and basketball players were pretty much having the time of their lives there. They were putting BU on the map in the national spot light and the local PD and administration were turning a blind eye to anything they did. I remember how some basketball player put 14 screws in her girlfriends face because she "startled" him cause it was his birthday and she was hiding to surprise him or something like that.
I don't know how it is at other campuses, but the Mrs. degree was a legitimate thing at Baylor. Basically it's girls go to school to find a husband.
You will have to take 2 semesters of Chapel and 2 semesters of Christian related courses. I took Scriptures which is essentially reading the OT and NT then discussing it and doing assignments over topics involved and another class called Christian Heritage which is basically the history of the Church and how fucked up it up. My professors involved with both courses seemed conflicted in themselves with their beliefs because they both knew how fucked up the religion is. I met my fuck buddy in Scriptures class, that was fun.
The good ol' boy scene hadn't really taken off when I was there, so I'm going to assume it's only gotten real big there as Waco has tons of land to go mudding, fish, hunt, and all that type of shit and with Daddy's bank account a lot of people will be able to afford it.
The academics is great and all my professors showed a genuine interest in their students, even if it was a lecture hall of 200+ people they still made 1 on 1 time and if they say you putting in the effort they were willing to spend a little more time with you.
Waco itself is a shithole but I spent a lot of time outside the Baylor bubble as I felt more at home in the real part of Waco. I was one of the few kids with a part time job while going to school. Some of the popular places there on the weekends was Crickets, Fast Eddies, Sam on the Square and some other bar.
>go to UT Austin
>people say it's liberal af
>literally meet conservatives everywhere
??????????????????
Roast me
Depends on what part of campus you're on. If you're near McCombs, the engineering buildings or the law school, you won't run into many faggots.
More like UT Autism
You should go there OP, it's very reasonably priced, a top notch school, definitely not cucked at all, has a great sports program, in a beautiful city (the gem of Texas some would say), and the girls are all hot blonde sorority bunnies that are down to earth and will gladly settle down for a GDI STEM major
:^)
>My professors involved with both courses seemed conflicted in themselves with their beliefs because they both knew how fucked up the religion is.
Same here, probably the same professor. They seemed indifferent to it all. It was nice learning about that since the churches I attended never went into church history or anything of that nature.

I loved that aspect. It got a lot better and easier when you got into junior and senior year I noticed. They'd spend more time and be willing to help you out more.
>Some of the popular places there on the weekends was Crickets, Fast Eddies, Sam on the Square and some other bar.
Looks like Sam on the Square closed. There was (it closed right before I left) an amazing Mexican restaurant that was chain of some sort. I remember another fried chicken place, and some Italian restaurant too.
of course the president and administration is in a huge GAY closet that worships BBC
>Waco
>gem of Texas
Gave me a laugh.
Too bad I live here
All in all Baylor if a solid choice for a school. Better if you have scholarships or if you are fortunate enough to have family pay your way through. The administration recognizes that it cost a lot to attend and offer a lot of scholarships to all of their students (yes, white people too) every semester.
Personally I went for the religious aspect of it all. I wanted to experience what it was like living in an atmosphere based on religion while studying in a scientific field. I learned a lot, experienced a lot and think I gained a lot when it comes to why I believe the way I do about religion, god, and science.
I enjoyed how it seemed like a tight knit family every time I went to the library to study and how I saw familiar faces every day at the science building or my walk to there.
If you can't afford Baylor that's fine, I'm sure A&M is a good choice if you want to have a conservative atmosphere. Maybe Texas Tech would be a good choice to look into as well. I made the drive to Lubbock from Dallas and the campus was beautiful, but the counselors didn't give me the time of day after I spent so long driving there so I wrote them off.
I enjoy being a bear and was actually wearing my football shirt of theirs I bought at the student center my junior year today.
Sic 'em!
Baylor is a fucking meme university that is nowhere close to redpilled, unless you consider a massive rape coverup redpilled. Don't waste your money
>UC system
>higher education
Pick one
not bad desu
Wanna know how i know you're an illegal?
>oh no! he broke the rules!
Report him to the mods and see how much everyone cares, faggot.
>hordes of (((diversity)))
>continual silencing of free speech
>in state tuition continues to rise
>meme tier classes bc quarter system
Private school is worth the money
where'd you go, user? I'm mostly here because i'll graduate debt-free
Currently at Notre Dame
Understandable move, my gf is at UCLA for same reason, jokes aside for STEM it's a gr8 school
When you are too dumb to go to CMU, but also too dumb to find employment after high school.
How do you all feel about NCSU and NorCarolina in general?
Grew up in Miami most of my life. Left a PhD at UChicago because it's such a shitty disgusting city. Considering NCSU for a Masters atm.
I go to Rice too, (((David Leebron))) is being such a fucking kike trying to protect the illegals.
People know about Carnegie Mellon in Serbia? Damn, I shouldn't have turned them down
More like too smart to go to CMU
Only reasons you should go to CMU are ultra-autism or a death-wish from stress-induced heart attack
>go to Baylor
>get raped by football team
>profit?
Fuck Texas anyway.
