I'm 21 years old and seriously considering running for a local office and starting a new political party. I'm coming to you guys for criticisms and brainstorming ideas.
Generally my goal is to engineer a socialist society and push government to a libertarian position. I'm about to dump some of my strategies.

21 year olds don't know shit about the world or anything for that matter and I sure as hell don't want you controlling government.
You'll understand when you're older.

The masons and NWO leaders are already trying to form a one world government. Be patient brother.

Step one: I'm currently working on a viral fundraising platform with a software engineering friend of mine. The idea is people subscribe to pay one dollar a week to a cash pool. Every week there would be a vote on a reddit-style platform. Every other week it would go to a non profit. On the in between weeks it would alternate between going to a research team that either developed or discovered something that could be beneficial to the human condition. On the remaining week, it would go to a(n) group or individual that has been doing something good for their community.
Intended effects:
1. The free market platform of social welfare via non profits could potentially lessen the burden of tax funded entitlement programs through more direct and concerned organizations rather than bureaucratic entities.
2. The monetary reward of the research/developments would put an incentive on humanistic developments as opposed to retail technology.
3. The last part about people who are bettering their community would create a competitive humanist platform, which would hopefully inspire people to do good.

With the potentially lessened government cost of social welfare, we could put a tax incentive on seeking mental help. Maybe a fifty dollar tax rebate once a year for seeing a psychologist for an hour.
Effects:
1. Normalize mental care, which could potentially lower violent crime/suicide, relieving some of the need for law enforcement, again lessening tax burden.
2. Increase demand for psychologists, a major that many people ignorantly choose and can't find jobs in. Creating more jobs would also create more tax revenue.
3. Generally help more people to become stable, thus hopefully making them more contributing to society.

Create something totally new, not just 'brand X' politics revisited for a new generation again.

General policy ideals
Abortion: Personally I believe that as soon as someone becomes pregnant they should consider an abortion, and they should make that the last time they consider it.
I would promote this ideology by making birth control as affordable as possible, whilst also making 2nd trimester abortions considerably more expensive than 1st trimester abortions (include an exception for extenuating circumstances such as loss of property due to fire or something, as well as termination from a job)
I would also make it easier for homosexual couples to adopt, increasing the adoption rate and making giving a kid up for adoption a more reasonable suggestion.
Education: Public school would end at tenth grade. There would be mandatory classes for personal finances, job training/skills, and computer literacy.
After tenth grade, kids with above a 2.5 average would be pushed towards community college. Below a 2.5 would land you in a trade school.
Based on performance, kids deciding to go into fields with high demand would receive more government aid than those going into fields with less hiring potential.
Voting laws
Every individual would have to complete a quiz before becoming eligible to vote. The quiz would be a simple matching of candidates to their policies. This would eliminate the "useful idiots" concept of our failed democracy.
Any citizen who doesn't vote would have fifty dollars deducted from their tax returns.
