Rain and Rubble Snowmelt and thunder Let califags huddle And engineers blunder Let the waters rage And the barriers burst Hail Kek's change For this land will be cursed. Wash away the wicked kill them all A new world will emerge Cali must fall Blow the dam Praise the flood Scour the land With rock and mud. May the cuck dam crumble As Kek demands As it falls it will rumble Claiming all the innocent lands Doubt not our almighty Kek Lest flood and fire He shall send For at first to salvage there must be a wreck The vile must be broken for the good to mend Flods of beaners you are alright with that now, here come's the water YOU HAVE TO GO BACK Degenerates cry out and are fleeing in throes But no matter how loud they shout Kek's answer is: "No". The thunder of water beats through your ear Far in the distance, the frog-king appear "I have told you, time and time again" "keep up with this bullshit, and this is THE END" For no matter how many lies the False Ones procure On computer, typewriter, spoken or by pen Have faith that the deplorables will find a way to ensure That Pol, is right once again.
For those of us who have been gone all day, can we get a quick tl;dr? Dam good to go or spillway failure soon?

Fuck you, what has norcal ever done outside of silicon valley?
Levi Butler
dam is fine main spillway is holding but sketchy emergency spillway is still jacked and will fail if the reservoir line gets high enough to breach it and the rain is coming
Jayden Powell
Okay, so the situation is fluid (hah)? Good to know.
Daniel Roberts
Lake level lowered 10 feet, reinforcement happening.
Jose Russell
fuck you, what has socal ever done outside of import mexicans?
Asher Peterson
Look at these massive fucking holes the erosion carved out in the emergency spillway. It's gotta be like a series of caves in there.

The electrical grids are all chained together. If a major output source goes down, like a hydro dam, then it puts immense stress on the rest of the grid. If that stress causes other parts of the grid to fail, then the remainders have to take up that load too. It's especially bad since it is not a gradual increase but a shock all at once.
Compare to power outages in Washington whenever a truly impressive Nov storm hits. It's not the trees blowing down in the wind that take out most the power, it is the grid struggling and failing to withstand the extra load from even a couple stations getting knocked out.
tl;dr Cali power is already operating at max capacity. They have no slush room for failure.
Alexander Sanchez
so why the hell didnt they fix it sooner? even without water sinkholes like that can cause serious damage
Landon Jones
I want to put bags of rocks inside Aqua.

Well you see user it was wisely decided that spending 1-6 million a few years ago was far inferior to spending 100+ million now (assuming they survive this).

I love California but god damn I fucking despise half the people here and our government.
thats autistic though, compared to how much the shill out to keep being a sanctuary state, diverting some funds to fix a vital dam would have been no problem. well i guess this can be summed up with: >Californian education
Wyatt Barnes
Mike Pence shows up and shows those faggots in California he means business
it's clearly bubbles, watch the video, there is no question whatsoever, you can see them rise and erupt

THIS IS THE PROBLEM. Consider that water seeping down down down below the entire hill, below the dam itself. Water is very powerful and can open fissures which collapse under the pressure from all of the weight of the lake. That's the real "worst case scenario."
Jeremiah Ortiz
Could be divers checking on the dam
Landon Jackson
watch video camera guys sees them, thats why he zooms in.
It all comes crashing down. California would be the best place on Earth if it wasnt for mexicans.
