At first he was quite appealing, but in recent videos he's shown (at least to me) that he can't really argue opposing opinions. He rather starts making fun of the opponent (or caller to his show).

Most youtubers and bloggers are simply trying to leave the normal 9-5 lifestyle. They are earning for themselves from their homes or on the road. They will spend time finding a niche and when they've found it will say exactly what they want to hear in order to make yt/blogging shekels.

I mean, it seems like, from an economic perspective rather than moral, that it is going to collapse or become worthless, because the value can be artificially, through bots, generated. "Wannabe celebrity" implies that most American celebrities are something that anyone wants to be (outside of the ridiculously over-the-top paycheck, mind). Go up to any girl on the side walk and ask her if her idea of "making it" is getting up on national television in a fucking dress you knocked out of a Vatican window and waggling your 80 year-old finger at the president for making a retard joke about a terrible person.
Some Youtubes are talented and aware of the extent of those talents, and some aren't. Stefan, Jimbo, and and Armored Septic all spring to mind as examples of the latter.
I enjoy his solo vids, but as soon as he talks with someone he disagrees with he mocks them, and it just makes him look like a prick when his opponents are being perfctly civil.
I can't stand his propensity for analogies either. If you cant win an argument talking in real life terms that directly pertain to the topic, then dont bother making that argument until you can.
