Still reading the Bible and developing my understanding/interpretation. Not 100% sure what to take literally, and what to take figuratively/allegorically. Do I think the Divine/God is the origin of all that there is? Yes. Do I think that Jesus was brought a message of union with the Divine/God? Yes.
Beyond that, I'm still exploring and putting the pieces together. It's a process.

Sure. There are still belief requirements to being Christian if you aren't one of those non-denominational lukewarm hippies.
1. Adam and Eve were the descendants of all man and Adam was the first prophet. They were tempted by Satan in the Garden of Eden and fell from divinity.
2. Cain killed his brother Abel and God cursed him. You have to believe that God curses people.
3. Tower of Babel. All languages used to be one until God decided that people were being dicks to him.
4. Noah was a prophet and God decided to kill everyone in a giant flood except him and his family.
5. God commanded Abraham to kill his son Issac.
6. Moses received the 10 commandments from God and God brought a bunch of specific and weird plagues on the Pharaohs of Egypt.
