I actually lived before this kind of immigration started. You didnt need to lock the door when you went out, there was still crime for various reason but not the same kind. Hard to say how much crime rates went up because there is no uncucked data. Rumors say it increased by 130 %. I'd say 50 % is more realistic. Truth is that immigrants commit most crimes against one another (theft, rape, murder etc.) but life has become dangerous for all of us and especially women and lolis.
However in my small town in Bavaria the situation relaxed. It seems that many muds moved to western Germany (Ruhrpott/North-Rhine-Westphalia...) where housing is cheap and almost none is deported.

There are many, many muslims in germany. Forget about the statistics you read online that only 5% is islam, it's not. Quite literally, LITERALLY every single 2nd generation Turk in germany, has a german ID and they, surprise surprise count as genuine germans. 25% of the population here have foreign backgrounds. I left germany in 2004 and came back in 2015. And yes the difference was noticable. From 1993 til 2004, i had seen 2 black people in my life. Now i see them daily and everywhere. Now, how are said people acting? The first generation migrants, Turks mostly because italians, greeks, russians, polish etc, they all speak German, but 1st generation Turks simply don't, a vast majority of them don't. These people are not europeans by any means but they learned to live here and respect a few things. They won't bother you. 2nd generation migrants and turks are honestly fine for the most part. They speak fluent german, most of them don't care about religion (eat pork, dont wear hijab etc.), they want to work and are friendly people. 1/5th of them though, act all 'gangsta' and the whole package, it's what i imagine black people are doing in america. Said people ruin the picture for the rest.
In urban areas of bigger cities, 500k+ population, germans are the minority and you simply do not want to walk around there at night. Smaller towns and villages outside of said urban areas, are 99.9% white. Just like the smaller states in the US..?
Now the BIGGEST difference is that we have strict gun laws. I simply do not want to imagine what it would be like if every single russian drug dealer, Turk, African etc. could walk up to a gun store and buy a gun. I do not want to imagine that.
