So, what do you all think about the future of white nationalism/fascism/National Socialism going forward in the US? Where do you see it going? Although I think it would most certainly be a stretch to call it mainstream, I feel like it's more mainstream now than it's been at any other point in my lifetime. The fact that I hear words like "white nationalist" or "ethnostate" on the news, even in a purely negative context, is pretty incredible to me. Similarly, with all the hoopla and lunacy over the supposed rise of "Nazis" and fascists (i.e. anybody right-wing), I wonder if perhaps the image of National Socialism will soften a bit to those not yet truly acquainted with it.

There is a sense in which they clarified the far right by warring with the alt-right; before the "alt-lite", the alt-right was our "watered down, mixed messaging" competition.
