Nigeria isn't even close to the worst country in Africa, if anything it's one of the best. Northern Nigeria is pretty terrible because of Muslims but outside of that it's probably even nicer than South Africa when you account for the fact that it's much safer. The worst country in Africa is definitely either DRC or Somalia.

Have you ever been to Nigeria? It's probably one of the safest countries in Africa by far, what's wrong with their culture as opposed to any other African country? It's one of the few African countries that actually has consistent economic growth and the Christians there keep the Muslims there in check for the most part.

I guess this happens due to their demographics. Very poor countries have a high fertility rate and a larger share of the population is under 15, whereas countries like South Africa, there are more people between the ages 16-24, who are far more criminal than people in other age groups.
