There's also a place that was modelled after London, another place that has huge Finnish influence (partially because of Moomin, but the townsfolk even speak Finnish despite being all Japanese), and yet another that's inspired by Germany and the alps.
In China, even though it's China and the towns are ghost towns (whereas in Japan they're populated), they've built several other communities inspired by/as an homage to European countries/cultures. The towns are mostly vacant but are kept in pristine condition even so.
