Someone high ranking in the police supposedly leaked information to criminal gangs.
That person was involved in the pre-checking of Wilders' security before he visits a public place.
The police has stated on multiple occasions that there is no reason to assume Wilders was ever in any danger, the guy who did it is actually free again now.
However Wilders decided to cancel his public campaign (Handing out flyers, etc) because he thinks it's unsafe, going against the advice of his security detail.
Coming only a few days he canceled his attendance at the biggest televised debates, it raises questions on Wilders' motives.

The guy gets angry as fuck when you ask him about the details of his plans. There really is no debating with him. All he ever says is 'Kick every muslim out of the country!' That has been going on for about 15 years now and he's never even attempted to do anything to realize his plans.
People start to realize he can't and he won't do shit, now the elections are actually coming up. He's already tied with the second biggest party and he's dropping further.
If you're really into voting nationalist, one of the newer parties might even be a better idea. FvD for example.

He is currently, and has been for years due to murder threats, under the protection of the DBB which is the close protection wing of the Dutch police and which serves senior members of the government, royal family and politicians. He's taken 15 years to come up with about 200 words of party program. No details, nothing. All the numbers and amounts of money he mentions in the second half of his A4-paper party program are completely fabricated.
To realize half of his plans he needs to get rid of at least 3 articles in the constitution. If you ask him how to do it, he gets angry. If he can't explain his ideas in more than one sentence, he gets angry and walks away.
That's why he canceled his debates, that's why he canceled his public appearance, and that's why he literally blocks everyone asking questions from his twitter.
He's objectively a really, really bad politician. 'Less money to foreigners and more to the Dutch' is something you or me can say at a family gathering or something, but if you're the leader of the biggest party of the Netherlands and you have the chance to do something about it, he could at least say how much money he would take from where, and invest in what.
If he gets in charge, he'll make an ass of himself and the whole right wing along with him.
Geert Wilders is just scum from the lower classes. FvD and VNL are meme parties who just like to be contrarian.

So was looking at the stemwijzer (got FVD>PVV>VNL as top three) and looked at the D66 position on binding referendums.

In addition to that: the guy that leaked had a 'Moroccan background'. He also had access to safe-house information, that now is potentially leaked to a criminal gang with 'a Moroccan background'. I'm not a security guy by profession, but I think that means that those are not 'safe' houses anymore, right now, at least until we are 100% sure about what was leaked or not.
