No good can come of Sup Forums. You'll waste time arguing with someone on a thread that will be slid in 3 hours, you get subliminal messages through the random porn pics and other dirty things people post that will lead you to masturbation, and rarely are there threads of any merit lately. In fact half the posts here have the opposite effect.
We post pics and things mocking CNN but even to mock them we still see everything they post. We see everything this liberal twitter losers post. They are still reaching us and effecting our lives, and we're giving them the attention they craze. We are no better than a tabloid gossip site, the things we claim to be against. Pol used to be better than that. It doesn't surprise me the most intelligent and thoughtful posters have left this site because of this.
I'm convinced this board is mostly 17-21 year olds. Ever see a picture of a pol meetup? It's pretty sad. I remember when pol was the best place on the internet for pretty thoughtful and comprehensive conversations on religion, science (not popular pseudo science but real science), art, and philosophy.
But right now pol is a poison. It used to be less extreme ideologically and used to never post about these fucked up news organizations (believe it or not). People say "this board is satire" but even that statement is satire. There's a reason I hardly go on here anymore myself. Maybe once a week for about an hour.
