The islamophobic right-wing extremist party Sweden Democrats breaks their previous records and is the biggest party by far at nearly 27% according to a new poll.
The Social Democratic party comes in second at 23.2%. The Social Democrats have historically been the largest party; for much of the 20th century they had over half the seats in parliament.

Polls were skewed by Trump and Brexit, but if you interpreted them properly(oversampling and what not) they were otherwise correct.

No, they're not ethnic nationalists, and they also support some levels of immigration, substantially less than today though. They won't get 51% though, that's inconceivable. But if the right-wing government plays ball with them next election, which they probably will, SD will probably be able to entirely dictate immigration policy if they drop some of their social policy issues (SD is a pretty socialist party on non-immigration issues).

Short answer: The Social Democrats
Long answer: The Social Democrats rule with the Green party (who have very limited influence), but are also supported by the left party who were cucked out of being part of the government. Due to a controversial agreement between the blocks, the right block agreed to the left block's budget so SD wouldn't be able to throw the country into reelection, on the condition that the left block would do the same after the next election. This was all in done to restrict the influence of SD in the government. This deal was very unpopular though, and now the prime minister has said that he will no longer respect the deal (which makes you wonder why they even trusted a socialist in the first place), and so neither party can count on this deal after the next election.

Yes, they're the party that advocates for this the most. Previously they even supported reintroducing the death penalty, but I don't believe they still hold this position.

That depends on what you mean by non-Swedes. I don't think they (at least officially) support reducing welfare for anyone who has Swedish citizenship, regardless of their birth country or ethnicity. They definitely want to reduce welfare for non-citizens though such as asylum seekers though.
Social Democrats are for a big government and they're left-leaning though not overly so on all issues. They're pro immigration. Sweden Democrats are left-leaning on most issues, they want a big government with welfare programs etc, but they are social conservatives and against immigration. The Sweden Democrats are pretty much exactly what the Social Democrats were 50 years ago.

4 years ago this was the case. Today, not so much. M opened up for cooperation with SD last month, and KD would definitely cooperate. SD cannot be ignored the next election, if they don't get what they want they will reject the budget and there will be a reelection, and the right block wouldn't repeat the mistake they did last time, this would be suicide.
