Weed is fine, but don't expect to excel in life while using it. I smoked for several years straight and didn't do much career / relationship wise. I decided I was unhappy and quit for a bit, and am now interviewing for a $10k increase job and am dating what will probably be my wife. When I'm comfortable with my life again, I'll start smoking again, because I enjoy it.
