They are basically imploding, their ratings are at an all time low, their anchors are having tantrums live on air, they're cutting off people who drop redpills, creating pieces about designated survivors, and their monopoly on controlling the media is starting to crumble.
I give them 2 years at best.

History channel plays reruns of pawn stars all day almost every day, so does H2. They stay on air. There's dozens of networks that show nothing but 20 year old sitcome reruns. There's more ads than shows. TV is literally for children and autistic adults.

Honestly, CNN is doing a great job where the Democratic party left off. American voters rejected Democrats in 1000 seats around the country during the Obama years and in the 2016 election. Since the Dems are out of commission basically until 2020 the MSM has picked up their slack and they are doing a great job moving the country to the right.
Sure CNN is massively annoying but that helps to push people further away. CNN and the left in general are not trying to pull a charm offensive and win back voters but rather scare voters away from Trump and the Republicans. The negativity from the MSM and what is left of the left is going to insure a future for the Republican party.

Seriously? I give it ten years. The FCC will likely sign off on AT&T's buyout of Time-Warner, effectively making CNN an AT&T property. In which case, Comcast has no reason to continue allowing CNN (the TV network) to be on their service against their own NBC.
Within the next three years CNN won't be included in Comcast cable packages while NBC won't be included in AT&T ones. Viewership will be completely nuked and both will be forced off the air as both Comcast and AT&T transition into Internet data-based business models, away from their current cable TV subscription-based one. This leaves just ABC, CBS and Fox to divide the remaining TV userbase.
