ooking to make the world a better place this weekend Sup Forums?
Help clean-up Syria by finding the locations in this video! Once we have the coordinates, we'll send them down the intelligence chain and hopefully score ourselves another airstrike.
You can create a map with some base editions, and someone else can download that file, upload on your own account, and start editing from there.
If we use that site, and use it smartly, I would say that TODAY we would find that site on the video. I will start to copy your second image, and create the same annotations on maphub, and provide it here.
Good thing is that you only download something on the site itself, so no malware from Sup Forums dickheads.
Dylan Perry
You are my hero Braziliano!
OK so start doing the map with marked rebel-controlled area. Then upload it here and I will help locating the house.
Jayden Reed
polan go bake new /sg/
Matthew Nelson
Pay me.
Logan Adams
I tried to do a rough perimeter based on your second image, it's kind of shit, but you can download it, and adjust it to the right dimensions, here you go!
and edit it to adjust the right perimeter, I did a rough and wrong aproximation based on your second image!
Colton Williams
BUMPING!
Starting search now.
Benjamin Garcia
Better yet, the wikiMapia you provided separate the whole area in small regions, we can use MapHub to create those areas inside the search, and make more easy to scan that SHYT
We need to facilitate the job of the faggots here, so they do small digestible contributions, but using their massive numbers, it get easy to scan it all
Carter Morgan
I will try to replicate the area division on WikiMapia on MapHub!
Luke Sullivan
>inb4 Isis bombs Hirosimoot because of you guys.
Isaiah Butler
For some reason MapHub doesn't load satellite image for me when zoomed in closer than 500m.
Landon Nguyen
Mapbox didn't work, HERE maps did work up to 30 meters, ESRI did work too! Change the settings! It's good to go, let's hunt boyz
Joseph Ramirez
IF that's teh case try searching on wiki maps and then edit area in maphub as the one that was cleared.
Ryder Stewart
It works, just change from Mapbox to ESRI or HEREmaps!
It goes up to 30mts
Hunter Long
ESRI works.
Angel Bennett
Prove that it works
Angel Smith
Yeah I got it. it's ok now.
Juan Diaz
We need this map divided in sectors, it will hasten progress a lot.
Henry Turner
Here we can se some cool pools
It's good to go, we need to set the perimeter first on the maphub, after that, I guess we have to make subdivisions like wikimpai, and it's finally pool hunting season
Eli Adams
I've scanned a lot around the river south of training grounds.
Thinking maybe the red house is near the green training ground? So close to water
Eli Nguyen
Are you working on creating the perimeter?
I'm waiting for that to further annotate stuff and create more subareas on the map
Ian Taylor
...
Joshua Morris
Workin on it!
Oliver Hill
>I guess we have to make subdivisions like wikimpai, What you really need is to make border around area of the search like here than divide it by quadrants and label them by numbers. Something like pic related.
Ryder Thompson
>*then divide it
Jordan Lopez
This Ivan, this will take some time tho.
Jose Gray
I guess this is a great strategy, maybe we can further increase the speed of search by increasing quadrants where we know that battles happened, by using that website that follow happenings in the region.
I liked the quadrant idea. We can all reduce that to an algorithm, after that it's just brute force by using big numbers of neet autists around the world.
Chase Flores
Also, updated map of the areas I searched so far. I'm sure for 70% there's no training house #1 in those areas.
I would say that more than 99% of areas are covered on your map version
Now we need to decide or, cross cover, quadrants x subregions.
Also, we need to remember that some small areas may be left over out of that map version, but I think they are insignificant!
I will try to add small regions that were left off, we are doing great guys, we just need to decide the overall strategy/algorithm and keep going
Hudson Mitchell
Well boyz?
Borders on what could be the green training ground also
Luke Rivera
Nope, check OP for house plan. Wall is hugging house.
Mason Gray
Also, it worked!
You can easily download your map, upload it on your account, and keep editing with no fear of malware from some crazy ass user!
It's an usable strategy! I can easily edit your map now!
Let's do it!
Cameron Mitchell
>not supporting Rojava.
Jordan Evans
Will do the quadrant thing now.
William Cox
Also, give proper titles and comments to your line edits, so we can understand them in an organized fashion for new anons who decide to further work on our maps!
Will make polygon areas of regions and quadrants now, in two separated maps
Brandon Campbell
Doing the quadrant division, it's a workable framework for collective map scanning!
Don't let this thread die!
Dominic Richardson
Lmao you guys finally figured out you should have put a grid over the map to systematically search. Good job you fucking autists
John Jackson
Progress of the grid
Kayden Scott
There's a part of me that thinks one of us might have accidentally stumbled upon this damn thing by now, but just thought that we didn't find it. I'm going to look through the old threads and see if we accidentally rejected a positive match.
Jeremiah Hughes
Woha, impressive!
Julian Brown
it's just because this particular one is such a tough problem. the vid is both constructed to be difficult to decipher ( other similar probs have taken less than a day to solve) by the publishers, but it also sits within a dense zone of samesame. We just being applying techniques as our understanding of the problem has ramped. Quad search has not been necessary before this. The training camp took an evening to spot. It's just the house now.
Liam Perez
You faggots should be assigning names to compounds and buildings too.
Jayden Ortiz
Yeah, didn't someone find the Nusra training area in Idlib literally in like 15 minutes by themselves?
Caleb Williams
Eh, you probably should remove all blue lines inside it once you've done, it's too much a mess with them. But it definitely works. Though I wish I didn't have to use ctrl++ to zoom map further than site default view.
Also, once again confirmed that this is indeed the road we're see at the end of the video. You kinda can see lamppost there and their numbers and position match with those from video.
Nathaniel Stewart
fresh bump
Jeremiah Murphy
yup. the benefit of wide open spaces. but here its a needle.
Cameron Young
I will assign numbers to the grid areas like the Russian suggested, and will also divide it in the areas like the wiki map divide them. I will name and number them!
It's easy to delete them, you really just have to press delete it. I will do it.
Daniel Rogers
We figured this long time ago, but site where you could do it was found only now (or nobody looked for it until now). Wikimapia worked too, but but there's too much confusing lines and it's too overloaded with things.
Adrian Thomas
It's worth pointing out that if you are using anything with google maps (or Google Earth) the most recent imagery in most of these places is from 2014. Accordingly, I wonder if it's possible that the shack in the corner was just built in the interim?
here is another almost but not quite cigar. close by
Jack Hill
Almost done, boyz
Benjamin White
Bump
Michael Edwards
I think I've finally figured "second bunker" problem near the end of the video. Check maps for those areas.
With this, I'm going to sleep. Good luck with the hunt.
Juan Jackson
good post
Jose Gutierrez
bump
Easton Scott
>Thinking that the Pentagon do not know where their "moderates" are located.
Jeremiah Morales
Not your personal intel
faggot
Ryder Perez
this is the best explanation I've seen
fucking awesome.
GUYS GUYS LOOK AT RUSSIANANONS THING
Gn
Noah Rodriguez
Here it is boyz, my hand is hurting for drawing so much fucking squares.
I will number them, and put them all on the same color now, and share the map.
Luke Gonzalez
Holy fucking shit, I lost the whole fucking thing.
I will do it again, and will pass the ball to you guys.
Adam Perry
implying we do it for money even if some of us get paid for it, it's still fun, so fuck you
faggot
Josiah Smith
>wake up >open Sup Forums >expect shill threads and other nonsense >stumble across multiple people from different countries collaborating to find ISIS base I am so god damn happy right now. You people are heroes. Honorary Aryans, all of you.
Cooper Wilson
i've been looking at syrian maps so long it feels like i've been there
Ayden Campbell
>to find ISIS base Yes, exactly this, eastern Ghouta is a stronghold of Islamic State and it has to be neutralized.
Jeremiah Reed
> He thinks intelligence agencies don't know exactly where they are
Western tax money at work in this video
James Bennett
Any Arabic speakers here?
What does this mean?
Daniel Thomas
I'm still redoing the grid.
Jason Thompson
Was asking for it. It is something like "God blesses us" alas no adress or something xD.
