Even though chess skill has nothing to do with physical strength, the top rated female player is 150 points below the top male player, and there are zero female players in the top 20.
My cousin is a serious chess player who is also a leftist intellectual. I got into a debate with him about this, and he refused to concede that there was a biological reason women are inferior to women in chess. He insisted that society made women feel like they couldn't beat a man at chess.
In the end he called me a mysoginist. We don't talk about chess anymore.

*biological reason women are inferior to men

But he's right. Look how many men play chess compared to women. Obviously the men will have a higher number of great players when there are more men playing overall.
Nathan Cook
>leftist intellectual
Maybe he should have gone to college then.
Jaxon Stewart
but he's wrong. look at how many women cook compared to men yet all the top chefs are male

Lol. I love how the "party of science and facts" gets emotionally upset and angrily reject when real life contradicts their fragile worldview.
My uncle is a "grandmaster" in the US and internationally, and although he has never mentioned women in chess, I know that all of his opponents have been men.
Funny thing is, all you need to be good at chess is a very good memory for the different openings, responses, counters, endgames, etc. Women should be just as good, since there is no physical limit on chess skill, but per your original post, it is quite obvious that there must be some reason women are not competitive with men at the higher level.

"They’re all weak, all women. They’re stupid compared to men. They shouldn’t play chess, you know. They’re like beginners."
- US chess grandmaster Bobby Fischer

Kasparov: >She has fantastic chess talent, but she is, after all, a woman. It all comes down to the imperfections of the feminine psyche. No woman can sustain a prolonged battle
Kayden Perez
Judit Polgar:
>Judit was asked about playing against boys instead of the girls' section of tournaments: "These other girls are not serious about chess...I practice five or six hours a day, but they get distracted by cooking and work around the house."
Luis Smith
Seems like a fundamental difference between the genders to me. This is how women treat their careers as well.
Jason Moore
Best they can come up with is some glib remark like "if chess isn't for women why is the queen the most powerful piece? checkmate mysoginists"
Nathaniel Lee
Women graduate from college in higher numbers, but drop out once they enter the real world and start climbing the corporate ladder.
Parker Lewis
>there are tons of anatomical and biochemical differences between the sexes >somehow evolution leaves the most expensive organ that is the reason for our success untouched

Laszlo Polgar literally had children as an experiment to see if he could raise genius chess players. Too bad he didn't have a son, it would be telling if the Son was clearly better than the daughters. Judith got to number 8 worldwide which is pretty good I must admit.
Also:
Polgár’s daughters all became excellent chess players, but Sophia, the least successful of the three, who became the sixth-best woman player in the world, quit playing and went on to study painting and interior design and to focus on being a housewife and mother.

It annoys me that leftists will interpret that data to mean the workplace is sexist and hostile towards women.
Adrian Nelson
>He insisted that society made women feel like they couldn't beat a man at chess.
Thomas Murphy
When science and ideology collide, the intellectual left suddenly decamp from their precious science and start beating their chests and shrieking at objective evidence that counters their worldview.
Lincoln Long
Also to add to your point, hormones and chemicals play a huge role in the brain. Anti depressants and psychoactive drugs are simply chemicals.
Many of such hormones are produced in other parts of your body which are different between men and women. For instance a large amount of serotonin is produced in the digestive system.

Femanon here. My IQ is about 145. Why should I bother playing chess. There are no black guys playing chess so there are only yellow and white tiny dicks. I prefer to do cheerleading.
Noah Reed
So in the Victorian era, yes women weren't able to enter the male domain of work. Suffrage gave women access to this, and once they enter the real game, they find that the average women prefers to nurture than hunt and kill. Some women enjoy hunting and killing, and nobody is stopping them anymore.
But the intellectual left has decided that just because women are less predisposed and less capable of doing this, the rules must be changed so that they are equally represented in this arena.
The only possible outcome is a mass redpilling of the general population
Ian Turner
Clearly societal racism is holding blacks down from becoming successful at chess. There should be a black only chess league.

Chess is a glorified board game.
Being good at Chess only means that you are good at Chess. Not necessarily anything else.
Put it into perspective: Nobody gives a fuck who won the last world Scrabble or Monopoly championships. Nobody believes winning a poker tournament equates to being a genius. And only spergs care about watching Starcraft and League of Legends tournaments.
Daniel Foster
come on man, think about your example as a scientific experiment. women are a historical minority in intellectual fields, so the sample isn't equal. you cant use one game to define whether an entire gender is superior to another in strategy
Jason Cruz
This can be explained by either >our culture encourages women to play chess less >different IQ distribution between men and women. Top people in any field are more likely to be men (with the cost of more fuckwits being men)
Christopher Watson
my wife is crazy good at chess. she even beats me sometimes (60-40 my favor) and has no formal training or studying. I know a good deal of tactics and openings, but am far from a master level.
she had to quit playing me for awhile because she said it made her mind race too much and her thoughts got all bobby- Fisher'd. you'd think she was an sjw to look at her at first but she's actually more redpilled than me.
pic related. filter your water folks

Another chestnut is that chess is a game of attrition whilst a that requires real skillls are games that involve out manoeuvring your opponent, such as checkers or go.
Tyler Johnson
I've been thinking about this kind of stuff a lot lately. I don't think women have anything that hinders their superiority but there's no denying that men are clearly better at mostly everything. The answer is probably that men are more competive. The cause of that may be society or chemical differences in the body. For example, you can see women who do really well in school and then proceed to study music or something related to health. Even though they tend to be successful and have prestigious roles in society, it's usually things that don't develop them as a person and end up moving on to other things. Men are usually more resilient and narrow, women are more well rounded. In the past way more men then women have risked their lives or lived in solitude in pursue their trades, which is a manifestation of these differences.
Jonathan Thompson
>This thing quit playing chess because she was worried about becoming crazy >becoming crazy >because she's clearly not crazy right now
