If capitalism is so great, then why did the Russian Revolution take place?

If capitalism is so great, then why did the Russian Revolution take place?

Let me tell you about the Jews...

If this board is 18+, what are you doing here?

Russia was actually socialist before the revolution

Because this guy was an ineffectual fuck up who should've spent more time winning The Great War and less time with that overgrown backwoods soothsayer.

"If Jews are so great, then why did the Holocaust happen?"

>socialist

Try monarchy. Lrn2history.

...

Da juice

Pre industrial agriculture society

Monarchies can be financially socialist. It's uncommon, but it happens. Obviously the people have no real power, but if a ruler feels like it's a good idea, they can spend plenty of money on useless boondoggles.

Millions of Russian soldiers died in WW2, an unprecedented number of casualties that rattled faith, among the professional soldier class, in the Czar, monarchy, and Russian empire. Once a regime loses support from the military, it is extremely vulnerable to being knocked over by the first bunch of radicals who find financing for their shenanigans. The Bolsheviks, who had ready access to liquid currency through the stranglehold their co-ethnics hold over the banking power, were able to effect a coup d'etat, and the rest is history.

Lies. Russia was the world leader in petroleum production by 1900. That hardly sounds like a pre-industrial agrarian society to me.

Fpbp

>Czarist Russia
>Capitalism

oh and btw the only reason the bolsheviks were sucessful was that the mencheviks didn't withdraw the country from the war, since they'd lose all the eastern europe territories.
The bolsheviks fulfilled a power vacuum. Few cared about communism - what the people wanted was peace, land and bread iirc.

I will tell you. The land. Back before 1861, when 85% of russians were slaves, they were working on a master's land. In 1861 they were liberated, but land was still in aristocracy hands. People were alloved to work on land, but to pay for its usage. And pay quite a lot.
Even in 1917 many were still paying. And add the losses at the front.
t. Russian.

>Czarist Russia
>capitalist

The poor are easily manipulated.

Russia was already seriously drained by WWI, when Germany saw it's opportunity to crush the eastern front from within.
That's when they organized Lenin's departure from Switzerland trough Germany into Russia via a sealed train wagon. Destabilizing nations is not the CIA's exclusive right after all!

It became apparent in 1917 that the eastern front would break down, which then happened right after the November revolution.
So this meant, that Germany could withdraw it's troops from the eastern front, and send them to the western one. Such a huge force could have resulted in military victory.

Now, since Wall Street heavily lent to the UK and France for the war, this meant that their loans were endangered, should Germany win.
Therefore, they used a passenger liner that carried weapons to evoke a war; the sinking of the Lusitania followed the pattern for war entries like some twenty years before the sinking of the USS Maine in Cuba as pretext for WWI.

because they were an oligarchy.

fucking KEK hahahahaha
