The Diary of Anne Frank

Much is known about portions of the diary of Anne Frank being transcripted, and even written, by her Father and possibly by other people. Some sources however claim that investigations about the authenticity of the diary carried out by the BKA concluded that all the types of paper and ink used were manufactured before 1950, and could therefore have been used in the war year, other sources about the same investigation claim that NONE of the "diary" handwriting matched known examples of Anne's handwriting. Does anyone have links to the BKA investigation?

Also, about pic related's last paragraph:

>After the war, Levin wrote, with the approval of the Frank Family, a play based on The Diary of Anne Frank, but his play was not produced. Instead a version of the same story dramatized by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett reached Broadway. Levin sued for plagiarism.

>t. UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA PRESS Berkeley · Los Angeles · Oxford 1997 The Regents of the University of California

Which one is true?

You know, they could have not stuffed Anne Frank down my throat in elementary school and there still would have been 100 other works of fiction about how awful the holohoax was that I still would have said to myself
>wtf

I think my turning point goes back to fetching a book to read in the classroom because I was bored and it happened to be "Marta and the Nazis"

LOL BKA. Part of our corrupt cuck system Jewmany . Of course their results will fit with the official brainwash narrative

>You know, they could have not stuffed Anne Frank down my throat in elementary school and there still would have been 100 other works of fiction about how awful the holohoax was that I still would have said to myself

Try explaining that to Germans. I mean, the fact that people here were (mis)educated about the Holocaust through Binjamin Wilkomirski's "Fragments: Memories of a Wartime Childhood" and how much appraisal such work received, only to be exposed as fake, SHOULD show these people that the Holocaust has been, at least, an exaggeration.

Germans go apeshit when you bring up claims of the Holocaust not happening or being exaggerated by the MSM.

Looking back I think maybe it was because where I grew up there was a high concentration of Jews, but like I didn't even care about who was or wasn't a Jew in the first place. How the fuck long ago was WWII? I listen to my grandparents tell stories about it.

That's like all this nonsense about slavery from centuries ago. Give it up already you fucking asshats. Find something new to complain about that has anything at all to do with me.

I mean for fucks sake there was even this one time they gathered everybody together to show us a movie and made a big deal that this was
SERIOUS FUCKING BUSINESS
AND WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT
YOU DON'T HAVE TO WATCH THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO

Because a big part of the plot was that some jew was on the run from the nazis and he was trying to figure out how to hide and decided what he'd do was sew his dick with needle and thread to try to make it look like he hadn't been mutilated, and then it got all puffy and infected and it wasn't going to work.

I mean what the actual fuck. There is no legitimate reason to subject school children to this sort of thing. They actually fucking showed the festering penis and the whole classroom yelled in disgust.

What is wrong with these people?

Here's a quick question for you. As I find your post interesting at the very least.

Would you say that, even if this is a work of fiction, that it gives young minds in idea of what it was like for some of these people during the war?

Would it be better if they just openly admitted it was fiction? Instead of pushing it as historical evidence.

bump

How does this thread get ignored, while shill threads get bumped to infinity?
God damn, Sup Forums needs a purge.

I don't think all of it is a work of fiction, but I think it's been largely exaggerated - by Binjamin Wilkomirski, and partly by the people who wrote portions of Anne Frank's. I don't think it's right to use fictional works to describe reality. We need facts, not emotional fairy tales! My German girlfriend is highly sensitive to this topic and has an extreme case of nazi guilt thanks to these emotional exaggerations.

that's illegal to criticise the holocaust in germany you can't do that

But would that be because she was raised to believe this diary, and everything written in it, is honest truth?
Ignoring, of course, that it's a subjective diary of a teenage girl who's going through puberty. Which any sane adult would take with a HUGE grain of salt.

But, if this were presented to students as fiction. Told that it's an exaggeration, and is to be used to get an idea, and only an idea, of what went on.... would it be better?

I couldn't agree more. Pretty much all populations in the world have been subjected to genocide or slavery or whatever else at some point in history. There is no need to exaggerate with so much brutal history to learn.

In fact it was really only later in life when I decided to learn some history on my own and I came to understand how horrible it was that I thought back and wondered why I was pretty much only browbeat about the holocaust while most everything else was just names, places, dates.

>What is wrong with these people?
They have twisted, mangled souls and it shows in everything they do. With the sort of thing you're talking about, it was obviously "LOOK AT WHAT THESE HORRIBLE NAZIS FORCED PEOPLE TO DO!!! LOOK HOW DESPERATE THEY WERE ALL BECAUSE OF THE EVIL NAZIS!!! NATIONALISM IS BAD BAD BAD GOY!!!".

They want people to associate shock, horror, and disgust with National Socialism. Typical jewish brainwashing.

This made me think.... what if we had a diary from a Palestinian in the Gaza strip? How would that read?

There was this piece of a documentary I came across once interviewing some Palestinians relocated to the US. Their complaint was that the Jews always worked together while Palestinians worked against each other, making it unfair.

You have to hand it to the Jews for having a religion that leads to a tribe surviving the test of time at least.

But wouldn't that be a good example of a successful war campaign?
Isn't that what the jews/shills are trying to do to europe and north america?
Cause us to fight amongst eachother, making it easy for conquest?

What does your girlfriend have to say in regards to her guilt? Why does she feel guilty? Fuck, can Germany even articulate WHY they feel guilty in regards to the so-called holocaust?

As far as genocides go, even if the holocaust were real and happened exactly as purported by jews, it would still be one of the more tame genocides in history. Very few people know about, and even fewer people speak of the Islamic genocide of the Indians in the time period of approximately 1500 - 1600 in which 400 - 500 million Indians were killed and 80 - 100 million enslaved, which included many of the males being castrated and worked to death. Fuck man, half a billion people killed in 100 years by one group of people, and barely anyone even knows about it. Shows you just how much of a stranglehold jews have over historical narratives in education.

Yes it is, all while telling us we have to be tolerant and inclusive.

So for anybody who noticed something wasn't quite right about holocaust education, you wind up learning the enemy's tricks. Once upon a time I thought nuclear reactions were cool so I started reading about physics n shieet until I came across the question of why we had dropped a couple of atomic bombs on Japan.

Just casual wikipedia-level stuff. And there is said Albert Einstein personally lobbied Harry Truman to go through with it so that it would be so horrible that the world would never go to war again.
>wait wut
>i thought the Great War was so bad we'd never go to war again
>and haven't we been at war the whole time since WWII?
So that kind of activated my almonds.

Well, I could argue that WW2, much like WW1, never ended. Just a prolonged cease fire.

Take the Cold War as an example. 'Stein was right, no one wants war knowing that nukes are a thing. But, that doesn't stop the tensions, the hatred, the rivalry. So we had a good 40 years of fear of nuclear annihilation.

Then the Berlin wall fell... AWESOME! It's over, right!? Nope. Just out of the public mind.

Now, let's take the current ME wars. Proxy wars, between USA and Russia as I see it.
Both sides flexing their new military tech/muscles. More active dick waving than the space race. Which was solely to prove who could drop a nuke into your morning coffee cup. (We won, just like we won x10 when we landed on that comet. Then look at the Tsar bomb. Can't hit target? Take out target and 10 mile radius just to be safe).

One more thing to add.

War = propaganda.
Even without war, there is propaganda. But war times, it's perfectly legal for the government to spew propaganda at you. Mislead. Misinform.

There actually used to be a law against the US government propaganizing it's own people. Now of course if you take the time to learn anything about propaganda or the National Security Act of 1947 or even just use common sense, of course the government is going to propagandize its own people, regardless of whether it's the US or not or what the laws say.

So then you have to ask yourself why they'd need to ever make a show of changing the laws so as to make it legal. Or why GHWB would say "OK, no more Operation Mockingbird, folks!"

Thanks for the excessive breadcrumb trail to follow, I guess.

I would argue that those laws preventing it would be outside of war time.
War time has a different set of rules. George W. after 9/11 was in a "war time" America, was he not?

And yeah, they're going to do it whether the law says they can or not. Who's going to stop them? Congress!? HA! Just look at how well that went for lynching Killary.
(Are they still looking into her e-mails and shit? Or has this been swept under the rug like so many other things?)

To tie this into the OP now, Anne Frank's Diary is propaganda to sway public opinion. True or not. Which is why it's compulsory reading in western cultures.

But just think. What if teachers did their job and instead of only pointing out how Hitler burned the books, they also said, look, kids here's a propaganda book!

I wish that we would as a civilization return to educating children rather than brainwashing them. As terrible as humans can be, we could make something so much better than what we have now.

Here's a laugh for you.... Our curriculum denies teachers the privilege of deviating from the script. They HAVE to teach what the government says, or they lose their jobs.

This was done however, in an attempt to standardize education. So as to eliminate the extremes to some degree. Because teachers would indoctrinate students to their own views, or they wouldn't touch on certain subjects for whatever reason.
So education across the country is made "equal".

The problem, as you've pointed out, is that this makes for government based propaganda, all the more easy.
Personally, I was blessed, because I had a few teachers that ignored the script to some degree, and actually taught critical thinking. Amusingly enough, it was my physics teacher more than my history teacher that did this....
And she used to be a member of Greenpeace...

Bump

Stop bullying Anne please

Yeah looking back I was extremely fortunate to have good teachers, as well as a program where instead of dumping all students together, those who were gifted were offered special treatment, and those who were slower also had special treatment, and that way the mass of kids in the middle weren't left out.

If you're in to book recommendations, I quite enjoyed "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America" by Charlotte Iserbyt, who was some kind of senior DoE policy advisor during the Reagan administration (among other things). It really helped me understand the connections among everything from Hitler/Mao/Stalin to Transhumanism.

And also thank you orchestra teacher for being the only one in elementary school to mention that Communism sucks and why.

It all started when girlfriend cited Binjamin Wilkomirski's work, and me excited to have a rational discussion about the topic, especially with a German, mentioned claims of holocaust being exaggerated, for propaganda or monetary gain, one example being the book she herself cited and the diary of Anne Frank. She flipped out, stomped her feet like a little girl and said the following:

>Holocaust is real!
>I learned this in school!
>Stop talking about that! It's illegal!
>Anne Frank is real!!!!
>What are you, a nazi?

That's all there is to it for her, what she learned in school, which is very disappointing. I pointed out that instead of saying such vague things, she should provide insights on why, not just yell "it's real!" out of an emotional outburst and let that be that. After a long talk she agreed that Wilkomirski's work was an exaggeration of the Holocaust, but doesn't make it any less true.

>insights on why she thinks it's real

I also want to add that she broke down and cried.

I appreciate your suggested reading. Hope someone picks it up.
But I get the feeling I already know what's contained within the pages; and it would be little more than giving me another view of something I've already concluded.

I'm a thinker! I take the raw data and form my own thoughts and opinions.
Sure, that doesn't typically translate to good grades in school! But I guarantee I understand the concepts a whole lot better than most.

The only problem is that it takes time to articulate my thoughts. Which is why things like Sup Forums are so great! Like a whiteboard to bounce ideas off of! Even the trolls are useful in this regard, because they force you to argue your point in as many different ways as possible. Which, in turn, educates the lurkers on how to properly argue the point.

>brainwashing to the max

Christ. Why isn't the scientific method taught in your schools? Why aren't kids taught to be critical of everything? Constantly looking for new information and proof!
Because as I'm sure most of Sup Forums knows, shit gets exaggerated all the time! It's important to ask questions!
But, you're not allowed... because Germany.
I'm not allowed... because it will be deemed "hate speech" because it's inciting violence against the corrupt powers that be.

Good to know you're still lurking in the thread though. Active OPs are best OPs.

>Rump bump.

And best part is its ephemeral. Germanbro can tell you he made his gf cry by being such a hitler, I can tell you I just fapped to furry porn for the first time in my life, and the only lasting net result is that we're converging toward some better understanding of the world.

It's almost like the Buddhist monks or the Greek philosophers or the students at Oxford were on to something making a practice out of debating each other for the purpose of education.

Now just to bring that debate back into politics...

Instead of mud slinging, virtue signaling, and mantras to avoid answering legit questions. (Looking at you LIberals for that last one.)
