They can't. Transsexualism is the newest "my child is more special than all the others" fad a la indigo children. Parents, usually mentally ill, will find some tenuous reason to claim their child is "trans" (like their 4 year old daughter not liking dresses or something), will brainwash their child into believing that s/he is "really a boy/girl", and will get some quack psychologist to prescribe hormone blockers.
