So what's the deal with Tibet? I remember in the 90s a whole Free Tibet movement. No one ever talks about it now. All I know is that they're religious and Chinese and follow the Dali Lama.

Because liberals love China now... Just like how they aren't supportive of Israel anymore

when

>Supporting a despotic theocracy because some old fart on the CIA payroll pals around with a Hollywood guy who crams gerbils up his ass

china cucked them, just like taiwan.

its because tibets standard of living and development has rised more than they ever dream of

Warlord cliques when?

Basically dali llama is a despotic theocratic dictator

China thinks they should have their own state because muh oppression even average commoner were worse off without china. also other regions in china have similar levels of oppression and similar claims to sovereignty

Also China flooding tibet with Han chinese to displace(genocide) tibetans

they also employ the strategy in parts of africa

The moment the Americans decide to isolate themselves from the rest of the world. We'll get back Vladivostok too and settle the old debt with Russia.

Soon.

please dont post this.

There's no need to get offended, as almost the entirety of China's population lives in red and dark blue
The other regions would be bumfuck tribal areas

>Inner Mongolia
>Is actually outside Mongolia

Whoever made this map is tarded.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outer_Mongolia
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inner_Mongolia
this term was made up when China still controlled Mongolia
Outer means its far away from China, while Inner means its closer (and nowadays part) of China

it got shut down because the chink virus invaded the borders of america and is now replicating at a plague-like rate

Its called Outer Mongolia because its on the other side of the Gobi desert, and Inner Mongolia is on the Chinese side of the Gobi desert

Genghis Khan should have killed all the chinks like he originally planned.

Fuck you. I'm going to post it again.

>bong geographers

Some faggot keeps spraypainting "Tibet" in red paint everywhere where I live (Aarhus).
It's on electrical switch boxes, bus sheds and fences.
I've yet to figure out if it's some shithead gang or a Free Tibet hippie who missed the train.

Can't decide between
/mongolia/ or \xinjiang\
who /turkestan/ here?

fellow Aarhus nigger
how is life

Tibet looks like north Corea to the Chinese that are more widely spread in all the fucking countries, have all the industry produce a lot of things have lots of money and are lots of people, so now that China is more open and have busisnes in all the world nobody cares about Tibet, just like nobody cares about Saudi Arabia

...

this. in the 70's and 2000's we hated saudi arabia but now we comfy af

It was an on-again-off-again vassal of China for several hundred years before the brits got them addicted to opium. Sometimes the Chinese picked their religious leaders, other times they only collected taxes, and occasionally the Tibetans told them to fuck off. 99% of the people that say "Free Tibet" no absolutely nothing about its history.

1/5 of the world oil is Saudi and they always has been fine with USA and the dollar is backed by them, in the 70's they try to kick Israel with the oil war but now they r pals, can't remember why was the 2000's thing

Unlike Israel china dont care
China also has massive geopolitical and economical power

Not fashionnable enough, it's the current year we 965 genders now

Well, when the Soviet Union fell, America thought that it could cuck China too so they started developing issues like Tibet. But, they didn't and China is really pissed if anyone mentions it or shills for it now, so noone does.

Tibetans are essentially second class citizens in their own homeland through discrimination in the workplace and in education where they are taught Chinese and not their own language. Further many seem to acknowledge the illegitimacy of the temples as practised in the country as either being nothing more than communist cells that lacks the scholastic rigour it once had. The Dali Lama was essentially a despotic theocrat though for most of Tibet's history the secular function was mostly symbolic. There were attempts by the 13th and current Dalai Lama to modernise the country but this failed due to a lack in a genuine centralised authority coupled with the tendency towards isolation and extreme xenophobia.

more of an "american education" thing but around 2001-2008 the only desert country we liked (besides israel ofc) was Kuwait, since they were victims
